NHPC commemorated International Women’s Day 2024 with a two-day event from March 20th to 21st. The occasion featured a lecture by Sandhya Swamy (IPS), Additional DCP-I, North West Delhi, on women’s empowerment and work-life balance, stressing mental and physical fitness. NHPC’s CMD R.P. Goyal, along with Directors Uttam Lal ,Dir (Pers) and R.K. Chaudhary, honored female employees for their achievements in sports, technical presentations, and social legal services. The ‘Anvitha’ outbound training program aimed to foster camaraderie and growth among NHPC’s women staff, guided by Director (Personnel) Uttam Lal.
As part of the celebrations, NHPC felicitated female employees for their outstanding contribution in the field of sports, technical paper presentations at international level and for their special role in social legal services and financial benefit to NHPC. These women employees included Ms. A. Nalini, Ms. Aditi Bisht, Ms. Lia George, Ms. Kanchana Devi, Dr. Pinki Kumari Roy, Ms. Dolly Singh, Ms. Reyo Hale, Ms. Kengam Buchi, Ms. Mikbom Nada, Ms. Kalpana Rani Jain, Ms. Radha Gupta, Ms. Seema Sharma, Ms. Neha Gupta, Ms. Santosh Sharma, Ms. Manjusha Mishra, Ms Pallavi Khanna, Ms Payal Tarachand Tekchandani and Ms Bhawna.
