ONGC is associated with National Cancer Institute Nagpur inaugurated on 27 April 2023. ONGC extended CSR support of ₹ 100 crores to provide top-notch #Oncology treatment facilities to the National #Cancer Institute, Nagpur.
Bridging the gap between expensive #cancer treatment & providing world-class medical care, ONGC Foundation enabled National Cancer Institute Nagpur to provide free-of-cost treatment to those in need. It has state-of-the-art facilities for the diagnosis, prevention & treatment of cancers.
ONGC has helped set up the 455 bedded quaternary care oncology center built on 25-acre land, with the help of Dr. Aabaji Thatte Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde – एकनाथ संभाजी शिंदे, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India Nitin Gadkari, among others, on 27 April 2023.
India’s #EnergyMaharatna aided in the construction of the Institute’s building, while procuring medical equipment for radio diagnostic facilities (like MRI, Citi scan, ultrasound, mammography, x-ray & bone marrow density meter, etc.) for the hospital.
