Forty-two employees of the Material Management Department at SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant were awarded under the ‘SAIL Shabash’ Scheme for their innovative contributions on February 7, 2025. The event, attended by Mr. B Palai, ED (Works), and Mr. Anil Kumar, ED (MM), recognized achievements in administrative management, inventory control, and cost reduction. Highlights included process enhancements like QR code systems and SAP integration, which improved material handling and supply chain efficiency, along with significant cost savings through inventory optimization.
