All 30 Quality Circle teams from SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were recognized with awards at the Chapter Level Quality Circle Competition held on September 21st and 22nd, 2024, in collaboration with Rourkela Institute of Management Studies. Out of the 140 teams and 730 participants from Jharkhand and Odisha, RSP’s teams excelled, with 27 securing Gold awards and 3 earning Silver. Team Ankur from the Pipe Plants claimed the prestigious J K Das Rolling Trophy for all-round excellence, while the Shrusti team from the Oxygen Plant earned second place. RSP was also awarded for the highest participation, with team members excelling in various individual competitions.
