PESB has recommended the name of Shri Uttam Lal , CGM ( HR ) , NTPC for the post of Director ( Personnel ) , NHPC Limited .
Presently Shri Lal is heading the NTPC’s HR ,R&R, Land Acquisition as well as CSR -CD activities of Vindhyachal Power Station with Additional responsibility of HR – Shared services of Vinhyachal, Singrauli and Rihand power stations’. During the trnure of over 19 years ( Since April 2005 )with NTPC , he successfully dealt over 40 skill dominated functions of HR domain .
Shri Uttam Lal Nominated as member of Core Committee for SCOPE (Standing Conference of Public Sector Enterprises),India, Business QUIZ TEAM. The purpose of this initiative is to inculcate faster decision making, team spirit and sportsmanship among the PSU managers. As a Quiz master along with team mate shad organised Eastern Region round at Kolkata and now preparing for southern region at Bangalore.
