A workshop on ‘Inner Engineering’ was organized at the Learning & Development Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 17th June, 2025 for the physical and spiritual benefit of employees. Mr. P K Sahoo, CGM (L&D) and Ms. Mahima Jain, Yogic Teacher and Volunteer of Isha Foundation were present on the dais. Mr. Chinmay Samajdar, CGM (Law), Mr. Manas Ranjan Rath, CGM (HR) and many other Senior Officers of the plant were present on the occasion. The half-day workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 300 employees, including a large number of executives.
Ms. Mahima Jain introduced the concept of Inner Engineering, describing it as a powerful yogic science and technology for well-being, rooted in ancient traditions yet highly relevant for today’s fast-paced lifestyle. She emphasized the importance of aligning the body, mind, emotions, and energy to experience inner balance, clarity, and a deeper sense of peace.
The session included guided practices, insightful discussions, and tools for managing stress and enhancing focus at the workplace. The participants expressed appreciation for the session and its relevance in achieving a harmonious work-life balance.
The workshop was part of RSP’s ongoing efforts to promote holistic development and wellness among its workforce.
