Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has taken a significant step to enhance healthcare services for its employees by inaugurating a new AMRIT Pharmacy at its Headquarters in Nagpur under the Dispensary Management System (DMS) initiative. The grand inauguration ceremony was held on 23.09.2025 and was led by Shri J.P. Dwivedi, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of WCL, in the presence of senior officials including Director (Finance) Shri Bikram Ghosh, Director (Technical) Shri Anandji Prasad, Director (HR) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre, Steering Committee members Shri Ashish Murthy and Shri S.R. Gabale, along with representatives from the WCL Welfare Board, HoDs, officers, and employees.
This new AMRIT Pharmacy aims to provide affordable, high-quality medicines to WCL employees and their families, reaffirming WCL’s commitment to comprehensive employee welfare and healthcare accessibility.
