On the inaugural day of the 18th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference & Expo 2025, being held in Gurugram from 7th to 9th November, Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs & Power, Shri Manohar Lal visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) stall. He was received by Dr. Vikas Kumar, Managing Director, DMRC, who briefed the Minister on the latest initiatives and innovations undertaken by Delhi Metro in the areas of sustainable urban mobility, technology integration, and green energy adoption.
Organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), the conference has drawn participation from over 1,600 national and international delegates, focusing on the nexus between urban development and mobility. The event provides a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration among policymakers, industry experts, and practitioners to promote sustainable and inclusive urban transport solutions in India.
