Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, inaugurated IGL’s new office at the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, and launched a state-of-the-art Smart Gas Meter Manufacturing facility. During the event, he highlighted India’s significant energy progress, including an increase in LPG connections from 14 crore to over 33 crore, a pipeline network spanning 22,500 km, 956 CNG stations, and PNG infrastructure reaching 30.7 lakh households. Shri Puri congratulated IGL on its remarkable journey of innovation, growth, and social impact. He emphasized that the new office underscores IGL’s commitment to expanding its reach, strengthening operational efficiency, and supporting India’s clean energy transition. This development aligns with the government’s vision of providing affordable, safe, and sustainable energy solutions to millions of Indian households and vehicles, reinforcing India’s leadership in the energy sector’s modernization and sustainability efforts.
