Maharashtra launched its flagship TechWARI – Maharashtra Learning Week – on 17 May 2025 at Mantralaya, Mumbai, inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Ajit Pawar and IT & Cultural Affairs Minister Shri Ashish Shelar. Organized by the Government of Maharashtra in partnership with the Capacity Building Commission and Karmayogi Bharat, and led by Radha Vennelaganti, IAS (Additional Chief Secretary, GAD), TechWARI has propelled the state into the top three performers on the iGOT Karmayogi platform, boasting over 500,000 learners, 1.5 million course enrollments, and more than 1 million course completions.
The week featured active involvement from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers, and senior Cabinet Ministers, alongside thought leaders such as Prabhu Gaur Gopal Das; Debjani Ghosh (NITI Aayog); Mandar Kulkarni (Microsoft); Abhishek Singh (IndiaAI Mission & MeitY); S.
