In this role, Sudeep will be based out of Noida and will report into <b>Sandeep Mehrotra, Chief Operating Officer – Advertisement Revenue, ‘Z’</b>.</p>
<p>As the <i>Attention Economy </i>continues to reshape consumer behavior, brands are increasingly seeking integrated ecosystems that enable meaningful engagement across content, creators, communities and commerce. Recognizing this shift, ‘Z’ is focused on building a robust digital ecosystem that leverages its content strengths, technology capabilities and strategic partnerships to unlock new monetization opportunities across social platforms, creator networks and emerging digital touchpoints.</p>
<p>Sudeep will leverage his deep industry knowledge and experience to enhance the digital asset monetization capabilities with a strong focus on strategic partnerships. Sudeep will work closely with platforms, creators, brands and advertisers to develop innovative monetization solutions and unlock new revenue opportunities for the Company. He will also play a key role in driving strategic collaborations that further strengthen the Company’s presence across the rapidly expanding creator economy ecosystem.</p>

(‘Z’)</b>, has further strengthened its sports portfolio by securing the exclusive broadcast and digital rights for the German Football League &#8211; <b>Bundesliga </b>in India for 5 years. The partnership marks yet another significant milestone in the Company’s ambition to build a robust football ecosystem in the Country, by bringing one of the world’s most competitive and widely followed football leagues to millions of fans in India.</p>
<p>Beginning with the 2026-27 season, Bundesliga matches will be available exclusively on the Company’s digital platform – Zee 5 and Unite8 Sports television channels. Viewers across India will enjoy comprehensive coverage of live matches, highlights, and exclusive shoulder programming.</p>

<p>The championship finale, broadcast live in English and Hindi across Zee 5, Zee Café SD, &amp;Flix SD, and &amp;Pictures HD, showcased the pinnacle of professional baseball as Shotaro Kasahara delivered a masterful performance, allowing only two hits in six scoreless innings with six strikeouts to secure the Falcons&#8217; victory. Munenori Kawasaki, named United Series MVP, went 2-for-5 with one run scored and two RBIs, batting an impressive .417 for the series.</p>

(<b>‘Z’</b>), has achieved robust gains on the back of its new content slate centered around quality storytelling, relatable characters and strong emotional connect. In line with its strategic content approach, the new fiction shows unveiled by the channel has enabled it to garner record-breaking results, leading to a 3-year high urban market share of 14.7% in Q2FY26 and strong leadership across all GECs (Pay &amp; FTA) in core prime time.</p>
<p>Zee TV also commanded a 40% share of the top 10 shows in the Pay Hindi GEC genre with four of its newly-launched fiction shows. Encompassing a blend of emotions, relationships and ambitions in a relatable weave of storytelling, the new shows – <i>‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’, ‘Vasudha’, ‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’ </i>and <i>‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’ </i>have struck a chord with viewers and continue to garner strong viewership gains week after week.</p>
<p>In a bid to further enhance its connect with the viewers and present innovative and quality stories, Zee TV’s fresh content approach lays a strong emphasis on highlighting the positivity and emotional depth embodied by characters like <i>Vasudha </i>and <i>Saru</i>. These shows have not only expanded the channel’s creative canvas, but also captured the pulse of today’s India, balancing tradition with aspiration.</p>

(<b>‘Z’</b>) has reaffirmed its strong positioning in the linear TV landscape by achieving a 4-year high market share of 18.2%, on the back of a strategic content approach that offers culturally-rooted, quality content across languages. Further enhancing its connect with viewers as a trusted and relatable entertainment destination, the Company reached 99% TV households, touching the lives of 855 million people across the Nation.</p>
<p>The Company has taken concerted efforts across the linear business to further strengthen its programming and build a compelling content offering across genres. The results of the steps undertaken have resulted in 8 channels from <b>‘Z’</b>s portfolio attaining the No. 1 leadership position across genres like general entertainment, movies and lifestyle. The Company’s flagship Hindi general entertainment channel &#8211; Zee TV also witnessed significant gains and clocked a 3-year high market share of ~15% in July <i>(15+; HSM Urban)</i>. The channel also emerged as the leading pay Hindi GEC amongst affluent viewers <i>(HSM Rural </i>&#8211; <i>15+ NCCS AB, Wk30-33’25) </i>on the back of its new show launches such as <i>‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’ </i>and <i>‘Saru’, </i>which have both emerged as slot leaders within a short span of time <i>(15+ HSM Urban)</i>, outperforming competition.<i></i><i> </i></p>
<p>Contributing significantly to the overall network viewership with the highest share was the Hindi Movies cluster, with Zee Cinema as the No. 1 Hindi Movie channel <i>(15+; HSM Urban; July’25). </i>Its World Television Premiere of the blockbuster film ‘<i>Pushpa 2’ </i>in Hindi was the biggest in FY26 <i>(YTD), </i>resulting in considerable increase in viewership for the channel.</p>
<p>Within the lifestyle genre, Zee Zest maintained its firm leadership position for 3 years in a row on the back of compelling original content and Intellectual Properties.</p>
<p><b>Robust language market growth</b></p>
<p>Even as the Company garnered gains in Hindi, its growth in language markets continues to remain robust. In fact, <b>‘Z’ </b>remained the fastest growing network in the South with a share of 17.2% <i>(FY26 YTD)</i>; nearly 3% higher than FY22.</p>
<p>The South market continued to post new milestones, as Zee Kannada maintained its leadership position in Kannada general entertainment with an all-time high share of 44% <i>(FY26 YTD), </i>on the back of its latest launch <i>‘Karna’</i>, which emerged as the highest rated show in the fiction-drama genre, as well as existing shows like ‘<i>Lakshmi Nivasa’, ‘Annayya’ </i>and ‘<i>Naa Ninna Bidalaare’</i>.</p>
<p>Zee Tamil also achieved a historical high share in the Tamil GEC genre, driven by its new show launch &#8211; <i>‘Ayali’ </i>and evergreen shows like <i>‘Karthigai Deepam’ </i>and <i>‘Anna’ </i>(15+; TN Urban; FY26 YTD).</p>
<p>Zee Telugu continues its strong foothold as the biggest channel in Hyderabad across all genres driven by fiction shows like <i>‘Jagaddhatri’ </i>and <i>‘Chamanthi’</i>. The channel clocked a massive 18.1 TVR, for the World Television Premiere of <i>‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’</i>, making it the biggest premiere in Telugu over 2 years <i>(15+; AP/TL Urban; FY26 YTD).</i><i> </i></p>
<p>Amongst the other language markets, Zee Sarthak continued to maintain its strong foothold in the Odia market as the No. 1 GEC for 5 years in a row <i>(15+; Odisha Urban; FY26 YTD)</i>; while Zee Talkies remained the No. 1 Marathi Movies channel for 6 years in a row. The Marathi Movies cluster also maintained a firm position in the category with a 54% share <i>(15+; MH U+R; FY26 YTD).</i><i> </i></p>
<p>The Company has also witnessed steady gains in the Marathi market with a fresh content slate enabling Zee Marathi to become the fastest growing Marathi GEC with its relative share increasing by 10% over the last 2 years <i>(15+; MH Urban; FY26 YTD).</i><i> </i></p>
<p>In the Bangla market as well, Zee Bangla is the leader in Kolkata, also regaining leadership in West Bengal Urban in the latest period <i>(week 33’25), </i>achieving strong growth with high- performing shows like <i>‘Parineeta’, ‘Jagadhatri’ </i>and <i>‘Phulki’. </i>Zee Bangla Cinema also emerged as the No. 1 Bangla Movie channel in FY26 YTD.</p>

Against the backdrop of Zee’s commitment to uniting diverse audiences through family‐oriented storytelling, the panel, comprising industry leaders from broadcast, digital start-ups, consumer goods and entertainment, saw intense discussions on how brands can forge meaningful connections in India’s increasingly fragmented, multi‐screen ecosystem.</p>
<p><b>Mr. Ashish Sehgal, Chief Growth Officer of Zee Entertainment Enterprises</b> opened the conversation by underscoring Zee’s three decades of learning from storytellers like panel member and Kannada film icon, <b>Ramesh Aravind</b>. He highlighted Zee’s goal of getting every individual with their individual screens to come together and sit and still talk as a family, through stories that spark dialogue across generations.</p>

<p>Drawing on his experiences across multiple media, Mr. Ramesh Aravind spoke to the constant at the heart of all storytelling: the human truth. He stressed on how all content, across formats, must address basic human emotions including our flaws, our dreams, and our shared experiences. He noted that while factors such as pace of storytelling, framing and length must respect the needs of each platform, the core “mantra” must remain genuine human stories.</p>
<p><b>Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan, MD &amp; CEO, TTK Prestige and Shuvadip Banerjee, Chief Digital Marketing Officer, ITC</b> added their insights into how legacy and new‐age brands navigate multi‐segment audiences. Mr. Vijayaraghavan spoke of the challenge of remaining relevant to both the traditional millennial customers and the digitally native younger generation. They pointed out that while technology enables precise segmentation, the brand’s purpose and promise must remain consistent. They stressed the need to balance reach with resonance, using nuanced creative execution across television, social channels and e‑commerce platforms to reinforce brand ethos without diluting it.</p>
<p><b>Nishchay Ag, Co‑founder and CEO of fintech startup Jar</b>, shared the perspective of a digital‑first brand scaling into traditional media. Having built a 20 million‑user base in two and a half years, he described the moment of “product–market fit” as the signal to expand onto television. Once non-linear yield returns begin, it’s time to crafting a unified voice and deliver stories in the languages, formats and durations that India’s diversity demands.</p>
<p>The lively discussion saw the emergence of four strategic levers as essential for brands charting “One Bharat, Many Screens”. The first, compelling, purpose‑driven content; the second, authentic cultural insight that honours regional idioms; third emotional connection that extends beyond the screen; and finally, a clear path to commerce that transforms brand engagement into purchase. The panelists agreed that those brands that respect time and money, and deliver value will gain audience engagement and lasting loyalty.</p>
