The Council will be led by Ritu Bararia, National President, WICCI PR and Digital Marketing Council. She will be supported by Megha Shrimali, the National Vice President, WICCI PR and Digital Marketing Council. This dynamic and diverse group of accomplished women achievers will champion the advancement of women in communications to foster growth, collaboration, and impactful initiatives throughout the year. 

Commenting on the priorities for 2024, Ritu Bararia, National President, WICCI PR and Digital Marketing Council said, “The power of women in the business of communications is undeniable, and I am excited to welcome the dynamic women professionals who have joined us this year as we work towards the unified vision of inspiring and equipping our counterparts across all levels and disciplines of communications. As we embark on this transformative journey together, the focus this year will be to build a stronger, more inclusive future and to address the issues faced by women in our industry.”

Comprised of renowned experts from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, the Council will drive a strategic agenda focused on leading insightful discussions on critical issues and challenges that women in communications face, through its ‘I Lead’ survey that was launched in early 2021. Further underscoring the need for mentorship and providing professional development opportunities, the Council will aim to revive the ‘I Lead Mentoring Program’, to propel women to the forefront of the communications landscape. The Council will further facilitate connections and collaborations between women professionals, businesses, and stakeholders in the industry.
