										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>NAGPUR.</strong> Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BAIF Development Research Foundation to implement the Community Livelihood Enhancement and Sustainable Rural Development Programme under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. The programme will promote climate-resilient livelihoods, food and nutrition security, and sustainable rural development in Umred and Bhivapur blocks of Nagpur district. The initiative aims to enhance annual income and livelihood opportunities for 1,000 small and marginal farmers while benefiting around 4,800 families across 20 villages. Through the partnership, WCL and BAIF will support sustainable agricultural practices and strengthen community-based livelihood opportunities, contributing to improved economic resilience and overall rural development in the targeted areas.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has extended  support Regional Mental Hospital, Nagpur,  Under CSR initiative. WCL has provided financial assistance for purchasing Medical Equipment, including the advanced rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) Machine. This revolutionary technology offers new hope for mental health patients by providing non-invasive treatment for brain disorders. With this addition, the hospital is now eligible to receive additional funds of ₹11,000 per patient under the  scheme of Govt of Maharashtra, ensuring better treatment access while increasing funding for improved healthcare services.</p>
<p>The project was inaugurated on 11th February, 2025 by Dr. H.S. Pande, Director (Personnel), WCL in presence of Sri Satish Humane, Medical Superintendent, Regional Mental Hospital, Nagpur, and Sri A.K. Singh, General Manager (P)/HOD (CSR/Welfare).</p>
