During the valedictory ceremony of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 conducted by POWERGRID, Smt. Trishaljit Sethi, Secretary of the Central Vigilance Commission and Chief Guest, was joined by senior officials including Shri G. The event marked significant milestones with the launch of PG MAS (POWERGRID Mobile Attendance System), a GPS-enabled, app-based attendance system designed to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the department released “Candour,” their in-house journal, aimed at promoting transparency and awareness within the organization. The occasion underscored POWERGRID’s ongoing commitment to strengthening vigilance and integrity across its operations.

Rishikesh: THDC India Limited (THDCIL) commenced Vigilance Awareness Week-2025 at its NCR Office, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, integrity, and fairness. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer (IRS), with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Emphasizing the theme *“Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”*, she highlighted the importance of spreading awareness across all sections of society and directed the organization of extensive outreach programs in schools, colleges, Gram Sabhas, rural and urban areas, project sites, bus stations, Ganga Ghats, and main markets. The inauguration was attended by senior officials including Sh. Neeraj Verma, Executive Director (NCR Office), Sh. S. K. Arya, Dy. CVO, executives of Corporate Vigilance Department, Rishikesh, and vigilance staff from various locations who joined virtually.

NTPC launches 3-month-long Vigilance Awareness campaign ahead of VAW 2025

Bengaluru, August 19th 2025: India’s largest integrated power utility, NTPC Ltd. launched a 3-month- long ‘Vigilance Awareness Campaign’ from 18th August to 17th November 2025.

The campaign was inaugurated on 18th August 2025 by Ms Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), NTPC, at Scope complex, New Delhi. The Vigilance officers across the NTPC offices took part in the program through video conference.

Emphasizing the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” the CVO urged all vigilance executives to focus on key areas mandated by the Central Vigilance Commission—timely disposal of pending complaints and cases, capacity building through platforms like iGOT Karamyogi, effective asset management, and strengthening digital initiatives for improved transparency.

She stressed involving all stakeholders—employees, vendors, and the public—for wider impact, encouraging creative outreach through plays, quizzes, videos, jingles, and vendor meets.

Commending the success of last year’s campaign, the CVO expressed confidence that this year’s efforts would further promote NTPC’s commitment to integrity and transparency.

NTPC Ltd. is India’s largest integrated power utility, contributing one-fourth of the India’s power requirements and has an installed capacity of 83 GW, with an additional capacity of 30.90 GW under construction, including 13.3 GW of renewable energy capacity. The company is committed to achieving 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
