										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As part of the three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026, the Vigilance Department of SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) organised a preventive vigilance awareness programme titled “Chetna: Probity to Prosperity” at the Learning &amp; Development Centre on 8 September 2026. Mr. Ranjan Bharti, GM (Vigilance) &amp; ACVO, presided over the valedictory function, which was attended by around 100 executives from the planning sections of various departments.</p>
<p>A thematic video on Vigilance Awareness Week was screened during the programme, along with a message from Mr. Alok Verma, Director-in-Charge (DIC). Highlighting the significance of this year’s campaign theme, “Probity for Prosperity” Mr. Bharti exhorted participants to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their work and treat vigilance as a shared responsibility for sustainable growth.</p>

<p>Mr. Sandeep Bansal, DGM (Vigilance), delivered a detailed presentation on public procurement, discussing various procurement procedures and emphasising the importance of strict adherence to PCP (Purchase Contract Procedures), SBD (Standard Bidding Documents), and CMMG (Corporate Materials Management Group) Guidelines in every procurement action. Mr. A.K. Biswal, DGM (Vigilance), took a session on ‘Preventive Vigilance’, apprising participants of various vigilance functions and explaining how planning officers can practice transparency, accountability, and ethical decision-making in their roles. Mr. M.K. Singh, Senior Manager (Vigilance), conducted a session on ABMS (Anti Bribery Management System) . The programme was coordinated by Mr. Sandeep Bansal, DGM (Vigilance).</p>
<p>This session reinforced RSP’s commitment to embedding a culture of integrity, transparency, and preventive vigilance across planning and procurement functions, in line with the Central Vigilance Commission’s directives for 2026.</p>

As part of the ongoing three-month campaign on Preventive Vigilance Awareness, Coal India Limited organized a one-day seminar on &#8220;Probity for Prosperity&#8221;—the theme for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week—at its corporate office in Kolkata. Addressing the gathering, Chairman Shri B. Sairam emphasized that vigilance serves as a system&#8217;s &#8220;third eye,&#8221; enhancing efficiency and driving organizational prosperity. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>New Delhi,</strong> <strong>24</strong><strong><sup>th</sup></strong> <strong>August</strong><strong> 2026:</strong> NTPC Limited launched its three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 at Scope Complex, New Delhi. Rashmita Jha, IRS, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), formally inaugurated the campaign, which will be conducted from 17<sup>th</sup> August to 16<sup>th</sup> November 2026 as a prelude to the Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. On the occasion, the CVO also unveiled the revamped Corporate Vigilance Intranet page.</p>
<p>The campaign being conducted under the theme “Probity for Prosperity” will focus on five key areas identified by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC): disposal of pending complaints, disposal of pending cases, capacity-building programmes, digital initiatives and contract management.</p>
<p>Addressing the gathering, the CVO urged vigilance officials to enhance the reach, quality and impact of preventive vigilance and outreach programmes during the campaign. She also announced the expansion of the “VAW Volunteer” initiative, with a special focus on engaging women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) this year.</p>
<p>Emphasising the importance of participative and interactive engagement with stakeholders, the CVO highlighted that the campaign would provide an opportunity to take preventive vigilance beyond conventional awareness activities and create a sustained impact through innovative initiatives and their effective implementation.</p>
<p>The CVO expressed confidence that the campaign would further strengthen NTPC&#8217;s culture of integrity, transparency and probity.</p>
<p>G Raja Shekhar, Head of Vigilance, in his address, urged Vigilance Executives to lead by example through integrity and ethical conduct and to become true flag-bearers of the campaign at their respective projects.</p>
