<p><b>Bengaluru, 18<sup>th</sup> Nov 2025</b>: Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector and a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited (‘Tata Power’), has successfully commissioned NHPC Limited’s landmark 450 MWp (DC) / 300 MW (AC) DCR-compliant solar power project as the EPC contractor at Karnisar Bhatiyan, Bikaner, Rajasthan. Executed over a span of two and a half years with unparalleled excellence in execution, the project stands as a demonstration to TPREL’s robust project management and technical capabilities.</p>
<p>In addition to the 300 MW NHPC project, TPREL is also powering Rajasthan’s upcoming clean-energy landscape with DCR-compliant cells and modules for SJVN’s 1 GW project and NLC’s 300 MW project- both poised for commissioning and set to become major renewable milestones. The plant features high-efficiency solar modules manufactured by TP Solar Ltd., Tirunelveli, further reinforcing the commitment to domestic manufacturing and sustainable energy advancement.</p>
<p>Developed by TPREL, this NHPC-owned large-scale solar project is supplying the entire power to PSPCL and will generate approximately 17,230 million units of green electricity over the life period of operation.</p>
<p>The project stands out for its robust engineering and innovative execution in one of India’s most challenging terrains. Despite extreme temperatures and difficult vehicle movements, the TPREL team ensured timely completion with the deployment of advanced technologies such as DCR cells and bifacial DCR modules, precision ramming, and high-performance inverters designed to withstand extreme heat conditions. In total, around 7,75,000 modules were installed for this project.</p>
<p>In addition to technical excellence, the project had a strong socio-economic impact. More than 300 local workers were employed, and several local vendors were developed, creating livelihood opportunities in the area and boosting the regional economy.</p>
<p>With this successful commissioning, TPREL reinforces its position as a trusted partner for large-scale renewable energy projects in India, delivering clean, reliable, and sustainable power to key utilities while actively contributing to India’s goal of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030 and reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2070.</p>
<p>To date, the company has commissioned over 4.9 GW of third-party projects-an impressive milestone strengthened by more than 980 MW delivered in this financial year alone, showcasing its rapid execution capability.</p>
<p>With this project, TPREL’s total renewable utility capacity has reached 11.6 GW. Currently, 5.8 GW of this capacity is operational, comprising 4.7 GW of solar and 1.1 GW of wind energy. Additionally, 5.8 GW is under various stages of implementation, evenly split between 3 GW of solar and 2.8 GW of wind projects. These ongoing projects are expected to be completed in phases over the next 6 to 24 months in a staggered manner.</p>

<p><strong>Bengaluru,October 3, 2025 :</strong> Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited and a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power Mumbai Distribution for a contracted capacity of 80 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.</p>
<p>The project will integrate advanced solar, wind and battery storage systems to enable reliable energy dispatch during peak demand, thereby strengthening grid stability.</p>
<p>The project, to be completed within <strong>24 months,</strong> is expected to generate approximately <strong>315 million units (MUs) of electricity annually</strong>, mitigating over<strong> 0.25 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year</strong>. A key feature of this initiative is the commitment to a<strong> 4-hour peak power suppl</strong>y, ensuring at least <strong>90% availability</strong> during peak demand hours to support the growing energy needs of Tata Power Mumbai Distribution.</p>
<p>This project will play a pivotal role in helping Tata Power Mumbai Distribution meet its Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO), as mandated by the State&#8217;s Regulatory Commission.</p>
<p>Once commissioned, the clean energy generated from this project will be seamlessly integrated into Tata Power’s Mumbai distribution network, enabling the delivery of reliable, low-emission electricity to around 8 lakh customers across residential, commercial, and industrial consumers.</p>
<p>This collaboration reinforces TPREL’s position as a trusted leader in India’s renewable energy sector. With a steadfast commitment to sustainability and innovation, the company continues to drive forward India’s mission of a greener and more resilient energy future.</p>
<p>With this addition, TPREL’s total renewable utility capacity is 11.3 GW (PPA capacity is 9.4 GW) including 5.7 GW projects under various stages of implementation and its operational capacity is 5.6 GW, which includes 4.6 GW solar and 1 GW wind. Presently, the company’s solar EPC portfolio is more than 15.7 GWp of ground-mount utility-scale and over 3 GW of rooftop and distributed ground-mounted systems. TPREL aims to provide energy access to millions of people across the country via its integrated green energy solutions.</p>

TPREL has achieved an unprecedented 45,589 rooftop solar installations in Q1 FY26, marking a staggering 416% year-on-year growth compared to 8,838 installations in Q1 FY25. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>Bengaluru, February 12, 2025:</b>  Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited and a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), India’s premier energy company, to explore joint opportunities in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and its value chain. The MoU was signed at India Energy Week 2025 in the presence of Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman and CEO of ONGC, Mr. Deepesh Nanda, CEO &amp; Managing Director of TPREL, and other dignitaries.</p>
<p>The collaboration aims to jointly explore and identify commercial opportunities across various segments of the BESS value chain, including utility-scale systems, grid stabilization services, renewable energy integration, microgrids, hybrid energy solutions, industrial and commercial storage solutions, backup power, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and energy trading through ancillary services.</p>

<p><strong>Bengaluru, 3<sup>rd</sup> December, 2024</strong> – Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector and a subsidiary of Tata Power, has successfully commissioned the 431 MW DC solar project at Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. Perceived to be one of India’s most cost-effective bids for large-scale solar energy production, the project was won through a competitive bidding process.</p>
<p>Spanning across 1,635.63 acres, the project is India’s first solar project site to incorporate cutting-edge technology, featuring a unique combination of single-axis trackers and bi-facial modules, thereby, setting a new benchmark for solar energy generation in India. This innovative integration has boosted the efficiency of the entire system by over 15%, enabling peak power supply for extended hours. The project is extremely innovative and was built by successfully overcoming several challenges, including rocky terrain, transmission line readiness, and remote site logistics.</p>

<p>The project contributes to sustainability with an estimated CO<sub>2</sub> offset of 7,80,300 tonnes and meets the highest engineering standards, with simultaneous SCADA commissioning ensuring optimal performance. The system is CEA compliant, ensuring seamless operation of the Static Var Generator (SVG), and adheres to WRLDC compliance through the integration of harmonic filters. This project also ensures reliable power supply to Western Central Railways and Madhya Pradesh Power Management Co. Ltd., playing a crucial role in the region&#8217;s energy infrastructure.</p>
