										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b><u>Bengaluru, 17 July 2025:</u></b> Tata Electronics, a leading player in the Indian electronics and semiconductor manufacturing sector, and Robert Bosch GmbH, a leading global supplier of technology and services, announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on several key areas within the electronics and semiconductor industries. The MoU was signed by Dr Randhir Thakur, CEO &amp; MD, Tata Electronics, and Dirk Kress, Executive Vice President Semiconductor Operations, Robert Bosch GmbH.</p>
<p>Tata Electronics and Bosch intend to collaborate on chip packaging and manufacturing at Tata Electronics’ upcoming assembly and test unit in Assam and foundry in Gujarat. A secondary exploration field is identifying and pursuing local projects within Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) for vehicle electronics with mutual benefit to both companies.</p>
<p><b>Dr. Randhir Thakur, CEO and MD of Tata Electronics</b>, said, “We are excited to partner with Bosch to help Bosch create a robust and reliable supply chain for key technology products. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><u>Bengaluru, October 9, 2024:</u></strong> Tata Electronics is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Bobby Mitra as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and President of AI and Digital Transformation. In this role, Dr Mitra will drive enterprise-wide initiatives in AI and digital transformation for Electronic Manufacturing Services, Semiconductor Assembly and Test, Semiconductor Foundry, and Design Services businesses.   Bobby and his team will be instrumental in advancing Tata Electronics&#8217; commitment to AI-led manufacturing excellence, particularly in establishing India&#8217;s first semiconductor Fab in Dholera, Gujarat and the first indigenous semiconductor assembly &amp; test facility in Jagiroad, Assam.</p>
<p>&#8220;We are pleased to welcome Bobby to Tata Electronics,&#8221; said <strong>Dr Randhir Thakur, MD &amp; CEO of Tata Electronics.</strong>  &#8220;He will focus on advancing Tata Electronics&#8217; technology and manufacturing capabilities using AI and digital systems. His deep knowledge of smart manufacturing and the digital ecosystem will be key to delivering value to our customers.&#8221;</p>
<p>Bobby has led smart manufacturing as well as industrial systems and personal electronics systems globally for Texas Instruments, served as President and Managing Director of Texas Instruments India, and, most recently, guided manufacturing and supply chain advancements at Deloitte Consulting as Managing Director.  Bobby is a Fellow of the IEEE, and is the Global Chair of SEMI Smart Manufacturing, past Chair of the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), and former President of the VLSI Society of India.</p>
<p><strong>Dr Bobby Mitra said</strong>, &#8220;Tata Electronics is focused on deploying extensive use of automation, AI solutions, and digital platforms in its manufacturing facilities.  I am looking forward to using my broad experience in the semiconductor industry to help shape the factories of the future at Tata Electronics.&#8221;</p>
<p>Dr. Mitra has a B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering and a Ph.D in Computer Science, both from IIT Kharagpur and an Executive MBA from the University of Texas, Austin.</p>

<p>Through this partnership, Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) and ASMPT, a leading global supplier of hardware and software solutions for the manufacture of semiconductors and electronics, will collaborate with Tata Electronics  for workforce training, advancing service engineering infrastructure, automation, spare supports and boosting R&amp;D initiatives in the area of wirebond, flip chip, advanced packaging and, integrated system packaging. This partnership shall also focus on energy and material efficiency to promote sustainable growth and strengthen the semiconductor supply chain ecosystem.</p>
