IREDA’s ‘Swachhotsav’ Drive Promotes Cleanliness and Sustainability

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) organized a special drive, ‘Ek Taarikh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’, at its Registered Office and nearby areas under Swachhata Hi Seva 2025. The campaign included cleanliness activities, felicitation of Safai Mitras with sanitary kits, and active participation of employees. CMD Shri Pradip Kumar Das highlighted the strong link between clean energy and cleanliness in building a sustainable future. As part of its 15-day Swachhotsav, IREDA is also conducting renewable energy awareness programs in schools, preventive health check-ups for Safai Mitras, and employee competitions to foster sustainability and community well-being.

New Delhi: Power Finance Corporation (PFC) organised a Shramdaan drive at its corporate office in New Delhi as part of the #Swachhotsav – Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 campaign, aligning with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s nationwide call of “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath.” The event was led by Shri Shripad Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India, who administered the Swachhata Hi Seva Pledge to all officers and staff. Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Minister stressed the importance of collective citizen action, remarking: “Cleanliness is our collective moral responsibility.

Every citizen should dedicate at least 100 hours annually to cleanliness activities. A clean environment not only ensures healthier lives but also reflects our duty towards building a Swachh Bharat.”
