It is noteworthy that more than 100 trainees including ACT (T), OCT (T) and the MT (T) of RSP and Odisha Group of Mines coming under the purview of L& D Department took part in the weeklong event in different sporting events.

In his address, Mr. Misra congratulated the winners and participants, emphasizing the role of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. He also applauded the L&D Department for its efforts in organizing a successful event.

The different sporting events organized included Cricket, Badminton- Singles and Doubles for both Men and Women, Chess, 100 metre Run and Shot Put.

Mr. S K Bhuyan, GM (T&RM) facilitated the smooth conduct of the events. Mr. Himanshu Mishra, Senior Manager (HR-L&D) and the L&D team coordinated the programme.

He encouraged all to give the best with a healthy sporting spirit.

The different events being conducted are Cricket, Badminton- Singles and Doubles for both Men and Women, Chess, 100 metre Run and Shot Put. To support the competitions, a dedicated field has been developed for outdoor events like Cricket, Running, and Shot Put.
