As part of its healthcare-focused CSR interventions, SECL has approved projects to enhance infection control and patient safety in major government hospitals through the installation of advanced semiconductor-based air sterilisation technology. An amount of ₹2.81 crore has been sanctioned for installing 62 air steriliser units at Late Bisahu Das Mahant Memorial Government Medical College and Hospital, Korba, covering operation theatres, ICUs, labour rooms, TB wards and burn wards.
