										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Premier Solar Powertech, the wholly owned subsidiary of Hyderabad-based Premier Energies, and Amara Raja Infra today announced that they have achieved a landmark success by winning a mega contract worth USD 130 million from Rural Power Company Ltd (RPCL) in Bangladesh. This significant milestone is further enhanced by the fact that the project is financially supported by India&#8217;s EXIM Bank, underscoring the close cooperation between the two countries in promoting sustainable energy solutions.</p>
<p>With their cutting-edge technologies and combined expertise, Premier Solar Powertech and Amara Raja Infra are poised to revolutionise the power sector in Bangladesh and pave the way for a greener and more prosperous future. The project covers 326 acres in Madarganj in the Jamalpur district of Bangladesh and will be completed in the next 18 months. The contract includes the planning, design, supply, installation and commissioning of a PV power plant with a capacity of 100 MW (AC).</p>
<p>Premier Energies is India’s second-largest integrated manufacturer of solar cells and modules, solidifying its position as a leader in the renewable energy sector in India. The company will provide technical support and supply 140 Mwp of high-efficiency solar modules for the project from its state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad. Sudhir Reddy, Director of Premier Solar Powertech Pvt. Ltd. said, “This prestigious order consolidates our position as a pioneer in the renewable energy sector. Our technical expertise has earned the company an excellent reputation and set new industry standards.”</p>
<p>Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director of Premier Energies Ltd, commented, “This success is a testament to our integrated capabilities in delivering solar solutions across the full spectrum of cells, modules and EPC services of our products, as well as the exceptional talent within our organization. Our commitment to innovation, sustainability and customer satisfaction has not gone unnoticed, and it is this reputation that has earned us the trust of our valued customers. As we strengthen our international presence, we are pleased to partner with Amar Raja Group on this current project of 100 MW (AC) in Bangladesh.”</p>
<p>Premier Energies&#8217; state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad has a production capacity of 2 GW of solar cells and 3 GW of solar modules and is expanding rapidly, with 1.6 GW under construction. It is equipped with the industry’s best automated mono-PERC manufacturing line (with cell efficiencies of 23% and above) and can handle emerging technologies of larger size cells such as G12. It has a fully automated module line for processing semi-cut cells and bifacial modules.</p>
