Mohali SOCIAL brings together Punjab’s big energy and the neighbourhood spirit of SOCIAL

MOHALI, 09 September 2026: SOCIAL, India’s neighbourhood café-bar, is expanding its presence in the Tricity with the launch of Mohali SOCIAL at HLP Gallerria, Mohali, marking its 60th outlet in the country, third in Punjab and its first outpost in Mohali. Following two established outposts in Chandigarh, the brand is now making its way to Mohali with a new address shaped by the city’s energetic social culture and strong sense of community.

Inspired by the Spirit of Punjab, Mohali SOCIAL brings together food, drinks, music and community within a multi-level space that reflects the way the city likes to come together. From weekday coffee runs and after-work catch-ups to long-table dinners, sundowners and late-night plans, the outpost has been designed as the newest adda for Mohali, evolving naturally through the day and into the night.

Riyaaz Amlani, Managing Director, Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., said,
“Punjab has always had a strong culture of community, generosity and celebration, and Mohali brings that spirit alive in its own way. We have been part of the Tricity through our two SOCIAL outposts in Chandigarh, so opening in Mohali feels like a natural next step for us. Every SOCIAL is shaped by the neighbourhood it enters, and here we wanted to create a space that feels relevant to how Mohali meets, eats and goes out. Whether it begins with coffee, a meal with family or a catch-up with friends, we hope Mohali SOCIAL becomes one of those places that naturally finds its way into people’s plans.”

Designed by FK’D Workshop, Mumbai, Mohali SOCIAL follows a cascading, amphitheatre-inspired layout where each level remains visually connected to the next. The configuration allows the energy of the space to travel across floors, creating a sense of collective participation rather than isolated pockets. No corner feels disconnected, and every level remains plugged into the larger atmosphere of the outlet, creating a setting built for conversations, celebrations and shared experiences.

Setting the tone for the space is an intricately detailed island bar that extends between the indoors and outdoors. Large glass façades bring in natural light during the day, while Shabad stone flooring, tropical greenery and natural materials lend the interiors a raw yet warm character. As evening sets in, the bar becomes the focal point of the experience, with music, lighting and the surrounding cascading levels coming together to create the high-energy atmosphere that defines a night at SOCIAL.

The outlet also creates room for different kinds of Mohali plans. A private dining room on the first level, wrapped in softer textures, low light, offers a more intimate setting for smaller gatherings. The open-air timber-deck balcony provides another pause within the experience, designed for sundowners, conversations and those familiar moments when a quick catch-up turns into a longer night.

HLP Gallerria Spokesperson added, “When we started building HLP Gallerria, we had one simple dream – to create a lively place where people love to come together. Bringing Mohali’s first-ever SOCIAL to HLP Gallerria is a proud moment for us.

What makes us really happy is that this place is for everyone; families enjoying a relaxed weekend lunch, young professionals working over a cup of coffee, or friends catching up after a long day.

SOCIAL brings a new energy to Mohali and gives people a favourite place to meet and connect. We’re excited to partner with Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt Ltd to bring this popular brand to HLP Gallerria and add more life and fun to our city and venue.”

The food and beverage experience brings together familiar SOCIAL favourites including China Boxes, Butter Chicken Biryani, Fully Re-loaded Nachos and more alongside coffee and signature cocktails. Adding an already familiar Punjab connection is the cult-favourite Banarasi Patiala, inspired by the region and already a hit with SOCIAL patrons. Together with other regional inspirations, it adds a local layer to the menu while retaining SOCIAL’s familiar, playful approach to food and drinks.

Beyond food and drinks, Mohali SOCIAL will continue the brand’s focus on community-led experiences through music, creative collaborations, cultural programming and emerging talent. The outlet is made for all kinds of plans, from easy lunches and casual gall-baat to long evenings and nights out with friends. Mohali SOCIAL is built around a sense of belonging, made for shared plans, easy conversations and time spent with your own people.

With Mohali joining SOCIAL’s Tricity map, the launch marks another step in the brand’s expansion across the region while staying true to its neighbourhood-first philosophy. More than just a new address, Mohali SOCIAL is meant to become a place the city naturally makes its own, shaped by the people who come together there and the moments they create.

~ With 50% finals night footfall growth, pre-booked outlets, and strong menu traction, #DoosraStadium became a culture-led engagement success for SOCIAL ~

National, 9th June 2026: SOCIAL concluded its #DoosraStadium 2026 campaign across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Dehradun, turning India’s biggest cricket season into a high-energy match-viewing experience from 28th March to 31st May 2026. Built around the insight that cricket in India is not just watched but celebrated together, the campaign brought fans into SOCIAL outlets through big-screen screenings, a regionally inspired match-day menu, beer buckets, cricket-themed décor, digital films, interactive gaming, fan merchandise, and giveaways, driving strong consumer response through the season and a 50% growth in footfall on finals night.

The Insight: In India, Cricket Is a Collective Emotion

At its core, #DoosraStadium was designed to celebrate the spirit of the game which brought people together. It was not built as a marketing platform but build on insights around how India actually watches cricket: in groups, with rituals, commentary, superstition, food, friendly rivalry, and collective emotion. For SOCIAL, the opportunity was not simply to put the match on a big screen, but to own the occasion around it.

The Strategy: Turning Every Outlet into a Doosra Stadium

That shift helped the campaign move from a seasonal F&B activation to a full brand experience. Every layer of #DoosraStadium had a clear role to play. The screenings created the reason to visit, the menu gave fans something to share, the décor and merchandise built the match-day mood, the gaming format kept guests engaged between overs, and the digital films extended the idea beyond outlets into social feeds. Together, these touchpoints turned cricket viewing into a participative community experience.

The Impact: 50% Finals Night Footfall Growth and Strong Market Pull

The strongest proof of impact came at the business end of the tournament. On finals, SOCIAL recorded a 50% growth in footfall, with multiple outlets completely booked before the match began. Across the campaign period, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru emerged as the strongest markets, indicating how effectively #DoosraStadium translated cricket fandom into sustained in-outlet engagement across key cities.

The Menu: Regional Flavours Became a Match-Day Performance Driver

Food also became a key performance lever. The specially curated #DoosraStadium menu, inspired by iconic regional flavours and designed for group consumption, saw strong traction through the season, with SOCIAL selling an average of 330 #DoosraStadium menu items every day. Dishes such as Rajasthan Ballistic Bhajiyas, Hyderabad’s OG Haleem Biryani, Bengaluru’s OG Stadium Samosas, Mumbai Vada Platter, Delhi Match Momos, Punjab Sixer Chhole Bhatoore, and Kolkata Filet-O-Fish Burger helped convert city pride and match-day appetite into a tangible consumption moment.

The Storytelling: Taking Fan Behaviour from Outlets to Social Feeds

The campaign’s digital storytelling played an equally important role in building relevance. SOCIAL released a series of films that captured familiar cricket-watching behaviours: the superstitious fan, the self-appointed analyst, the friend-group strategist, the city loyalist, and the friend who knows that big matches are never meant to be watched alone. Instead of dramatising cricket fandom from the outside, the films reflected it the way it exists in India’s friend groups: loud, funny, emotional, chaotic, and deeply shared. This storytelling was further supported by other digital touchpoints, including menu carousels, match ticket giveaways, and the Chef Series, which helped extend the campaign beyond the films, kept the conversation active across formats, and enabled SOCIAL to reach over 3.3 lakh people via Instagram.

The Result: A Cultural Campaign with Clear Commercial Outcomes

This made #DoosraStadium more than a campaign around cricket. It became a mirror to the rituals around cricket. By tapping into everyday fan behaviour, SOCIAL was able to create a campaign that felt culturally familiar while still delivering measurable outcomes across footfall, menu traction, outlet bookings, and market-level engagement.

Speaking about the campaign, Divya Aggarwal, Chief Growth Officer, Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., said, “#DoosraStadium has always been built on one very simple truth: cricket is at its best when it becomes a shared experience. This year, the response showed us how strongly that insight resonates with our community. A 50% growth in footfall on the finals, pre-booked outlets, and strong menu traction are clear indicators that fans were not just looking for a place to watch the match; they were looking for a place that made them feel part of the game. For SOCIAL, this campaign is a strong example of how culture, community, food, and experience can come together to create meaningful brand impact.”

The success of #DoosraStadium 2026 reinforces SOCIAL’s larger strength as a brand that understands how young India gathers around cultural moments. By combining insight-led storytelling with on-ground experience and F&B innovation, SOCIAL turned cricket season into a high-performing brand platform that delivered both cultural relevance and commercial impact. With outlets across nine cities joining the celebration, #DoosraStadium 2026 strengthened SOCIAL’s role as India’s neighbourhood café-bar for culture-led experiences, where the energy of the hood turns every big moment into something bigger.

The brand celebrates 11 years by expanding its menu with inventive formats and hearty flavour,

inspired by what’s cooking outside and served with a SOCIAL twist.

Hyderabad l July 2025: SOCIAL, India’s favourite neighbourhood café-bar, unveils its boldest food chapter yet, a vibrant lineup of an all-day menu that delivers inventive flavour, introduces fresh formats, and spotlights presentation-forward plates alongside its cult favourites. Dubbed as The Big Drop, this launch is SOCIAL’s way of bringing more to the table, inspired by the communities, cravings, and culinary shifts shaping how India eats today.

The new drop includes offerings across categories like Breakfast, Snacks & Chaat, BOSS Burgers, Munchies, Substantials, Desserts, Beverages, and more. It brings new energy to the table with the introduction of categories like Ramen, Breakfast Sandwiches, Thalis, and Dunkables. Crafted for every kind of day, from breakfast and chai breaks to dinners, dates, and midnight viewings, the drop stays rooted in SOCIAL’s DNA of serving hearty, innovative meals with its signature twist. The new menu is now live across 55+ outlets in 10 cities including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Indore.

As the brand celebrates 11 years of shaping India’s café-bar culture, SOCIAL continues to build on its founding philosophy: to create hyperlocal spaces that feel like home, where the vibe is familiar, the food speaks the local language, and the experience evolves with its community. The Big Drop marks a bold next step in that journey. Drawing inspiration from the social spaces of India, the chaos of chaat stalls, the nostalgia of college canteens, the edge of late-night thelas, and the flair of today’s Instagram cravings; the additions bring together innovative and contemporary offerings with comfort, curiosity, and cultural storytelling, all served with the unmistakable SOCIAL twist that defines the café of the hood.

Sharing his thoughts on the latest food drop, Riyaaz Amlani, Founder & Managing Director of Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., said, “When we started SOCIAL, the goal wasn’t just to serve food and drinks, it was to build spaces where people feel a sense of belongingness. That idea has shaped everything we have done. Over the years, we have watched how India eats evolve; faster, more fluid, more expressive. With this drop, we are not just following that change, we’re leading it with food that’s bold in flavour, playful in format, and rooted in how people actually eat today. These aren’t just trendy plates, they are thoughtful, hearty, and designed to match every moment: from a solo chai to a shared Matcha, a Toast-E-Galawati to an Avocado Toast, a Nihari Prashant to a Kimchi Momo Ramen, and a Tokyo Pinja Meringue Sandwich when the mood strikes. More than anything, they carry forward the one thing that’s never changed for us: the feeling that you belong here.”

Talking about the new drop, Chef Shamsul Wahid, Group Executive Chef at Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., said, “The Big Drop gave us a chance to play with flavours that feel familiar but show up in completely new ways. From ramen inspired by regional Indian gravies to the simplest egg sandwiches done right, every dish has been crafted to deliver comfort first with a twist that makes it unmistakably SOCIAL. We’ve taken cues from train station breakfasts, street-side snacks, home kitchens, and global formats to create food that feels rooted yet fresh. It’s food you recognise, but reimagined for today’s mood, appetite, and pace.”

WHAT’S FRESH IN THE BIG DROP:

The Big Drop brings a fresh mix of categories with bold flavours, familiar comfort, and playful twists across the menu. Whether it’s corporate lunches, post-work hangs, college adda sessions, mall pit stops, family dinners, catch-ups with friends, or solo bites between meetings, there’s something for everyone.

BREAKFAST
A SOCIAL staple that just got bolder. The breakfast section is updated with fresh picks like the buttery Avocado Toast, the spiced indulgence of Anda Kheema Ghotala, and new favourites such as Behen Florentine, and Bhai Benedict. Highlights like the Kerala Prawn Stew Ramen and Nihari Mutton Ramen reimagine traditional Indian gravies through a ramen lens warm: layered, and unapologetically soulful.

THALIS AND TIFFINS

For those who crave variety on a single plate, this section delivers the perfect all-in-one meal. The newly introduced Veg Tiffin and Non-Veg Tiffin pack comfort, nostalgia, and everyday indulgence into a classic SOCIAL-style dabba.

DESSERT
SOCIAL closes strong with comfort-first, joy-forward desserts. New entries like the Banoffee Pie, Dessert Nachos, and Basque Cheesecake, offer sweet endings that are as twisted as they are tender.

BEVERAGES
From Classic Iced Matcha and Coconut Water Matcha Latte to the decadent Defunct and Affogato, the cold beverage line-up offers refreshing, indulgent sips for every kind of mood.
