South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has been honored with the Green Transition Leadership Award at The Times Internet Ecopreneurs Awards 2026 in New Delhi. The award, received by SECL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Harish Duhan, recognizes the company’s continuous efforts toward sustainable mining, green energy promotion, scientific mine closure, land reclamation, and the adoption of eco-friendly mining practices.

Commending the achievement, CMD Harish Duhan stated that the award reflects SECL’s balanced commitment to both environmental conservation and national energy security.
