Atul Sobti, Director General of SCOPE, addressed participants at the recently organized Academy of Public Sector Enterprises Executive Development Program held at the APSE Centre in SCOPE Minar. Speaking to a vibrant cohort of around 50 dynamic junior and mid-level managers representing nearly 20 diverse Central Public Sector Enterprises, Shri Sobti emphasized that human capital remains the ultimate catalyst for organizational growth. He noted that equipping the workforce with a strategic mindset and future-ready competencies is a core imperative as public sector enterprises navigate an increasingly competitive and complex global economic landscape.

The intensive week-long flagship initiative is meticulously structured to bridge the gap between operational execution and strategic foresight. The dedicated capacity-building arm

focuses on grooming an efficient talent pool capable of balancing corporate competitiveness with socio-economic responsibility. Throughout the session, participants deep-dived into critical areas ranging from public sector governance and macro-economics to behavioral leadership dynamics, gaining essential insights to drive future organizational excellence.

]]> The Council Meeting of the Steel Executives Federation of India (SEFI) was held at SCOPE Minar, the SAIL office in New Delhi, with active participation from Presidents, General Secretaries, and Council Members representing SAIL, RINL, NMDC, MECON, and other steel officers’ associations. From the Steel Executives Association (SEA) of RINL – Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, General Secretary K.V.D. Prasad, President Katam S.S. Chandra Rao, and Vice President T. Srinivasa Rao attended the meeting and highlighted key issues including executive promotions, enhancement of gratuity limit, merger of Steel PSUs, and concerns related to RINL.

The SEFI Council felicitated SEA President Katam S.S. Chandra Rao for his dedicated services to SEFI, the National Confederation of Officers’ Associations (NCOA), and SEA. He was appreciated for his contribution to crucial issues such as SBF Pension, EPS-95 higher pension, redesignations, and entry-level scales.
