										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>NEW DELHI.</strong> Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of India’s largest public sector steelmakers, has earned the coveted Great Place to Work certification for the period from February 2026 to February 2027.</p>
<p>The Ministry of Steel informed that this is the third consecutive time the company has received the certification, following a comprehensive assessment by the Great Place to Work Institute of India. The Ministry added that the recognition reflects SAIL’s enduring commitment to nurturing a workplace culture that is contemporary, agile, and closely aligned with the professional and personal growth of its employees.</p>
<p>On the occasion, SAIL Chairman Amarendu Prakash said that securing the certification is a proud moment for the organization. He added that the recognition reflects the trust employees place in the company and the culture that its leadership is collectively building.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the grand Republic Day celebrations organized by SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) at Ispat Stadium on 26<sup>th</sup> January 2026, RSP Gaurab awards were presented by Mr. Alok Verma, Director In-Charge, RSP to 3 Non- Executives and 3 Executives.</p>
<p>Amongst the Non-executives the 1<sup>st</sup> three places were bagged by Mr. Purusottam Meher, Engineering Associate (Coke Ovens), Mr. Kedar Nath Hui,    Junior Engineer (Silicon Steel Mill) and Mr. Bhagirathi Jena, Junior Engineer (Coal Chemicals).</p>

<p>In the Executive category, Ms. Khushboo Mishra, Senior Manager (R &amp; C Laboratory) secured the first position, followed by Ms. Kavita Bisoyi, Senior Manager (Contract Cell) in the second position, and Ms. Prangya P. Nath, Assistant Manager (Safety Engineering) in the third position.</p>
<p>It is worth mentioning here that My RSP-My Identity, an unique initiative that  encourages employees to share their positive thoughts, emotions and experience of being part of the organisation. As per this initiative, employees are required to write at least one complete sentence of positive thoughts about RSP everyday over a span of 15 days.</p>
<p>In the 7<sup>th</sup> edition of the competition that was launched on 1<sup>st</sup> January and continued till 15<sup>th</sup> January 2026, 2972 employees of made entries in RSP PORTAL- EMPLOYEE ZONE link OR MOBILE APP KARMI-MITRA.</p>
<p>A Committee of senior officers evaluated the responses online and submitted their marks on daily basis.</p>
<p>The objective of the initiative is to strengthen the connect of the employees with the organization and making them the brand ambassadors of the company.</p>

The recognition reflects SAIL’s enduring commitment to nurture a workplace culture that is contemporary, agile and deeply aligned with the professional and personal growth of its people.</p>
<p>Demonstrating a notable rise in its TRUST INDEX © score, an indicator of the percentage of employees giving positive feedback during the assessment, SAIL earned the certification on the basis of a comprehensive company-wide survey conducted by the Institute. The Great Place to Work Institute, a global authority on workplace culture, honors organizations that deliver exceptional employee experiences through a rigorous evaluation process.</p>
<p>SAIL has been steadily rolling out progressive HR initiatives, the latest being SAIL DARPAN &#8211; a step towards a transparent, performance‑driven workplace where evaluation and target setting reflect objectivity and alignment with organizational goals, while empowering employees to own their growth. Another key initiative is offering domain‑change opportunities for executives through specialized training programs under MoUs with leading IIMs (Kozhikode, Bangalore, Jammu, Raipur, Ranchi) and renowned institutes like XLRI and ASCI, focusing on marketing and HR.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a part of the HR initiative, ‘Pragati Ra Sathi’ a Plant visit was organised for the spouses of employees of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) to sensitize them about the work conditions and working norms of the plant to become effective partners of progress.</p>
<p>Spouses of 20 employees from New Plate Mill, Hot Strip Mill-II, SPP and CEM were taken around Blast Furnace – V, New Plate Mill and Hot Strip Mill – II on 20<sup>th</sup> December, 2025. Mr. R K Muduli, CGM (NPM, SPP &amp; Digitalisation) presided over the welcome, orientation and interaction sessions. Also present were Mr. N Mohapatra, GM (NPM), Mr. S Subramanian, GM (NPM), Mr. PK Jena, Senior Manager (HR), Ms. Prangya Nath, ASO (NPM)  and other Senior Officers of the Department.</p>
<p>In the orientation programme the groups were shown a video on Plant Overview and Safety. During interaction the Senior Officers urged the guests to continue their unstinted support and encourage their partners to adhere to safety norms and standards. The visitors were briefed about the process of steel making right from Raw Material channelization to finished products.</p>
<p>The visit was coordinated by Mr. Sambit Nandi, Assistant Manager (HR) in association with the concerned Departments.</p>
