Under the programme, children receive 200 ml packets of flavoured milk enriched with Vitamins A and D, supplied through the NDDB Foundation for Nutrition (NFN). The distribution is scheduled for every school day, providing a nutritious supplement in addition to mid-day meal.

By providing daily nutritional support to school-going children, the Gift Milk initiative directly contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relating to health, nutrition, and education. The programme is set to make a tangible impact on child nutrition and learning outcomes across Narayanpur, Kanker, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, and Balod districts, reflecting SAIL-BSP’s vision of “building strong steel and stronger futures.”

The conclave featured technical sessions covering unit-specific communication strategies, CSR alignment, and content creation, chaired by Shri Anup Kumar Dutta. Creative engagement was woven into the event through short film screenings, a quiz competition, and a ‘Make an Ad’ contest. Winners of the ad contest included Shri Abhinav Shankar (BSL), Shri L.
