NLC India to enter into a JV with RVUNL for thermal power and mining operations

The Board of NLC India Ltd in its meeting held has announced the incorporation of a Joint Venture Company with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) with equity participation of the Company and RVUNL in the ratio of 74:26 for establishing, maintaining and operating 3 x 125 MW Lignite based Thermal Power Station.The JV plant is supposed to develop and operate lignite mines to meet the requirements of the Thermal Power Plant.

NHPC signed an MOU with Govt PSU RVUNL, Rajasthan

NHPC signed an MOU with RVUNL, Govt of Rajasthan for development of Pumped Storage and other Renewable Energy Projects in the State of Rajasthan in Joint Venture mode. Two Pumped Storage projects 1000 MW each are being considered for development in first phase.

The MOU has been signed by Sh Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical), NHPC and Sh Devendra Shringi, CMD, RVUNL in the august presence of Smt Arti Dogra, IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary (Energy) and Chairman (Discoms), Govt. of Rajasthan along with ED (SBD&C), NHPC and other senior officers from State Govt. and NHPC

SCCL, RVUNL sign MoU for setting up 3,100 MW thermal, solar power plants in Rajasthan

The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL), as part of the Telangana government’s joint venture with the Rajasthan government, has decided to establish 1,500-megawatt capacity solar power plants and another 1,600 MW thermal plant in Rajasthan. Officials of SCCL and RVUNL sign MoU forming a JV for 3,100 MW power generation in Rajasthan at Jaipur on Monday as Rajashtan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and Telangana Deputy CM M. Bhatti Vikramarkaand others look on.
