Bengaluru, August 13, 2025: Freedom finds a fresh beat this Independence Day. Kar Dikha – a spoken word and rap anthem by RPG Group– redefines azaadi for today’s India: not as a moment in history, but as a daily responsibility. It’s a call to show up, take ownership, and shape a better India: azaadi sirf paane ki nahi, nibhane ki bhi kahani hai.

The music video draws from real stories across RPG Group and Mumbai – factory workers keeping industry moving, neurodivergent employees at Raychem RPG breaking stereotypes, Pehlay Akshar children finding their voice, Koli women entrepreneurs driving change, and Worli’s youth using hip-hop to reclaim their narrative.

Composed and produced by Mumbai hip-hop pioneer Instine, with verses by Yeda Anna (Maddy), the track blends Indian sounds with modern beats – a soundscape where grit meets hope. Shot by Alphabooom, the video is a tribute to everyday courage that rarely makes headlines.

“This wasn’t just a track – it’s an action manifesto set to music. Collaborating with RPG, every note was shaped to carry unity and every beat to echo courage. Independence isn’t just about waving a flag, it’s about standing up together and hold that hope for a better, brighter, happier India,” said Instine, the project’s executive producer.

Bengaluru, 11th August, 2025: Asvata Climate Solutions, the carbon credit venture of RPG Group, and Equilibrium, announced a strategic partnership to scale a regenerative agriculture project in Andhra Pradesh. The project, under execution in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram, will benefit over 40,000 livelihoods, including 10,000 small holder farmers in the region

A combined investment of approx. $2 million from Asvata and Equilibrium will be utilised to restore 8,000 hectares of farmland, sequestering 30,000 tonnes of CO₂e annually.

Key intervention areas:

1. Educating and supporting farmers to adopt climate-smart practices like Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD), Direct Seeded Rice (DSR), reduced tillage, and cover cropping.

2. These techniques reduce water use by up to 30%, lower input costs, and improve soil health, while unlocking new income streams through carbon markets.

Asvata and Equilibrium will work together on project strategy, with Equilibrium leading project management and execution. The interventions are projected to extend to 25,000 hectares of land by 2027 as the project progresses.

This project is built on a blended finance model that brings together philanthropic support, catalytic funding, and commercial investment. This structured approach has enabled the initiative to scale effectively while maintaining measurable impact for farmers, supported by Equilibrium’s proprietary digital MRV (D-MRV) platform to monitor water savings, soil health improvements, and carbon sequestration in real time.

As climate variability and unpredictable rainfall increasingly affect farming in Andhra Pradesh, the model presents a practical, replicable pathway for climate adaptation in other regions.

USAID’s Water and Energy for Food program and Equilibrium provided the early-stage risk capital to invest in areas where traditional finance rarely flows; in community mobilisation, farmer training, and the design of robust data systems that anchor on credibility and long-term impact.

Commenting on the results as well as the outlook of the business, Mr. Arnab Banerjee, MD & CEO, CEAT Limited, said, “It was a very satisfying top line performance for the quarter and overall, for the year as we managed to deliver a double-digit growth across all key categories and business verticals. We crossed an important milestone of crossing Rs 13,000 crores of revenue during the year. The Replacement segment delivered strong growth consistently during the year and OEM business delivered strong performance in Q4. We managed to deliver improvement in margins in Q4 versus Q3. We look forward to integrating the CAMSO compact construction business with CEAT in the current year.” 

On a standalone basis, the Company’s revenue stood at Rs. 3,413.6 crore, 14.6% Y-o-Y and EBITDA margin stood at 11.6% and net profit was reported at Rs. 100.4 crore.

Mr. Kumar Subbiah, CFO of CEAT Limited, said, “Our operating margins improved in Q4 by over 120 bps, largely driven by favourable revenue mix and result of strong cost controls across the value chain. We incurred capex of Rs 946 crores during the year largely in capacity additions that would prepare us well to deliver our growth plans in FY 26. During the quarter, we incurred Rs 37 crores towards voluntary separation of employees in one of our high-cost factories as part of our continuous effort to keep our manufacturing units cost competitive.”

The Board of Directors at its meeting held today has approved a dividend of Rs 30, i.e. 300% per equity share for FY24-25. This is subject to approval of shareholders.

We have now reached 17% through consistent efforts on hiring and building inclusive practices’’, he added.
