Sri Lanka’s parliament will convene Tuesday in its first session since a state of emergency was imposed as the country grapples with protests and mounting demands for the president’s resignation over a worsening economic crisis. The state of emergency is due to expire on Thursday next week unless it is ratified in a parliamentary vote. Sri Lanka’s opposition dismissed President Rajapaksa’s invitation to join a unity government as “nonsensical” and instead demanded his resignation over the country’s worsening shortages . meanwhile Sri Lanka’s central bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal said he is resigning, only hours after all government ministers offered to step down amid the nation’s worst economic and political crises in decades. The resignation was submitted to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Cabraal said in a Twitter post Monday. It wasn’t immediately clear if the president had accepted the offer.

After weeks of political drama in Madhya Pradesh which went from senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia joining the BJP, the Grand Old Party’s government in the state has collapsed.

Kamal Nath listed out the several projects done under the Congress administration. He followed it up with,”The BJP could not tolerate this”.

Nath further said that Indians can see the truth behind the incident where MLAs are being held hostage in Bengaluru. “The truth will come out. People will not forgive them,” he said.

Kamal Nath alleged the BJP had continuously plotted against the Congress government. “Every 15 days, a BJP leader would make a remark, saying this government is here only for a few months and won’t last long.

They also held hostage our 22 MLAs in Karnataka. They have spent crores of rupees by luring our 22 MLAs to the BJP camp. The BJP has planned this to kill democracy. The people of Madhya Pradesh will never forgive them,” he said.

Accusing the BJP of not being able to handle the work done by the Congress administration in Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath said, “I had been given five years to develop the state, five years to make Madhya Pradesh to be counted among one of the big states.”

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Sharad Kumar resigned on Friday hours ahead of the impending floor-test in Madhya Pradesh. The Speaker of the Assembly, NP Prajapati, accepted the BJP MLAs resignation this morning.

मुकेश नायक खुद दिग्विजय की सरकार में एक बार मंत्री रह चुके है और कांग्रेस की राजनीति को जानते है।असल में तेजी से बूढ़े हो रहे दिग्विजय को अपने मंत्री बेटे जयवर्धन सिंह की राह में सिंधिया ही सबसे बड़ा रोड़ा लग रहे थे इसलिए सिंधिया को बाहर कर दिया। फिर गुरग्राम में अपने विधायक भेजकर खुद छुड़ाने का नाटक किआ । दिग्विजय की चाल अब खुल गयी है हमने 10 दिन पहले ही कहा था कि विधायको का गुरुग्राम का ड्रामा कही दिग्विजय का खेल तो नही ।

मध्यप्रदेश की राजनीती में अजब भूचाल आया है जहां राज्यसभा चुनाव के 21 दिन पहले ही ड्रामा शुरु हो गया है. कुछ लोग तो इसे होली के पहले का ड्रामा बता रहे है और कह रहे हैं कि बुरा ना मानो होली है . लेकिन पर्दे के पीछे से ये अटकलें भी सामने आ रही है कि कहीं ये खेला खुद दिग्विजय सिंह ने तो नही खेला है .ये बात इसलिए भी कही जा रही है क्योकि जितनी आसानी से कांग्रेस के 8 विधायक गुरुग्राम के एक होटल मे गये और उतने ही ड्रामेबाज तरीके से दिग्विजय सिंह खुद और अपने बेटे जयवर्धन के साथ उनको बाहर निकाल लाये. इससे बस इतना ही साबित होता है कि दिग्विजय अपना कद बढा रहे हैं.

असल में दिग्विजय सिंह इस बार राज्यसभा से रिटायर हो रहे हैं और 26 मार्च के चुनाव मे खुद को फिर से दावेदार मान रहे हैं .
लेकिन अंदर की खबर ये है कि ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिंया ने इसमें टांग अडा दी है . सिंधिया खुद को राज्यसभा नहीं जाने की घोषणा कर चुके हैं.लेकिन लोग कह रहे हैं कि सिंधिया ने ये भी कहा है कि वो दिग्विजय को भी किसी हाल मे राज्यसभा नहीं जाने देंगे .ऐसे में बीजेपी एक अतिरिक्त प्रत्याशी खडा करके कांग्रेसी विधायकों का फायदा उठा सकती है.

इस बीच दिग्विजय सिंह ने बडा आरोप लगाया है कि बीजेपी की तरफ से करोडो रुपये का आफर विधायको को दिया जा रहा है ताकि उनको खरीदा जा सके. इन आठ विधायकों को भी इसी तरह लालच देकर ले जाया गया .

बीजेपी खुलकर कह रही है कि इन विधायकों को भाजपा नहीं ले गयी और दिग्विजय खुद की कीमत बढाने के लिए ये सब कर रहे हैं. अब सवाल ये उठ रहा है कि अगर सचमुच विधायकों को तोडकर ले जाया गया तो फिर उनको वापस लाने के लिए कमलनाथ सरकार की तरफ से क्या किया गया क्योकि अगर विधायक वापस नही आते तो सरकार भी गिर जाती. विधायकों को वापस लाने के लिए दिग्विजय अपने बेटे जयवर्धन और एक मंत्री जीतू पटवारी को ही क्यों ले गये . विधायको को वापस लाने के लिए सरकार की तरफ से कोशिश क्यों नही की गयी. एक सवाल ये भी जबकि अभी उम्मीदवारों के नाम घोषित भी नहीं हुये है और फार्म तक नही भरे गये . चुनाव में पूरे 20 दिन बाकी है तो बीजेपी इस तरह की ह़डबडी वाला कच्चा कदम क्यों उठायेगी .फिर अगर बीजेपी उनको ले भी गयी तो विधायकों की सुरक्षा के लिए बीजेपी की सरकार वाले राज्य में कोई इंतजाम क्यों नही था .

कांग्रेस नेता दिग्विजय सिंह ने ट्वीट किया, ‘भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने मध्य प्रदेश के कांग्रेस, बहुजन समाज पार्टी और समाजवादी के विधायकों को दिल्ली लाने की प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ कर दी है. बहुजन समाज पार्टी की विधायक राम बाई को क्या भारतीय जनता पार्टी के पूर्व मंत्री भूपेन्द्र सिंह चार्टर फ्लाइट में भोपाल से दिल्ली नहीं लाए? इस पर शिवराज सिंह चौहान कुछ कहना चाहेंगे? लेकिन हमें राम बाई पर पूरा भरोसा है. वो मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ की प्रशंसक हैं और उनका समर्थन करती रहेंगी.’

प्रदेश में विधानसभा सदस्यों की संख्या 230 है, जिनमें से कांग्रेस के पास 114 विधायक हैं, जबकि बीजेपी के पास 107 विधायक हैं. इसके अलावा बाकी 9 विधायकों में से बहुजन समाज पार्टी के पास 2 विधायक और समाजवादी पार्टी के पास एक विधायक हैं.
इसके अतिरिक्त 4 निर्दलीय विधायक हैं, जबकि दो विधानसभा सीटें खाली हैं. दो विधायकों की मौत होने के बाद से ये सीटें खाली हैं. मध्य प्रदेश में सरकार बनाने के लिए बहुमत का आंकड़ा 116 विधायकों का है. हालांकि सूबे की सत्तारूढ़ कांग्रेस पार्टी कुल 121 विधायकों के समर्थन का दावा कर रही है.

मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कांग्रेस नेता दिग्विजय सिंह पर बड़ा हमला बोला है. दिग्विजय सिंह को ‘ब्लैकमेलर’ बताते हुए शिवराज सिंह ने कहा कि वे राजनीति में खुद को बनाए रखने के लिए बेबुनियाद बयान दे रहे हैं
सवाल ये भी है कि शिवराज क्या इतने कचचे खिलाडी है कि विधायकों को साथ ले भी जायें और उनको आसानी से वापस जाने भी दें . इस कहानी के कई पहलू अभी सामने आना बाकी है .लेकिन जरुरी है कि अगर विधायकों को लालच दिया गया तो उनको खुद सामने आकर बताना चाहिये कि किसने कब और कितने का आफर दिया ताकि चूनाव साफ हो सके .

Dvendra Fadnavis, addressing the press conference said, “Maybe there was a prior understanding in the Shiv Sena that the party must try to join the Congress and NCP after the results. Our doors for communications have always been open, but the Shiv Sena took a stand of cutting off talks with the BJP but continuing discussions with the Congress and NCP.”

“I will not say anything about Uddhav Thackeray, but the statements being made by the party leaders around him have been disappointing. We also have the ability to reply to all these statements, but that is not what the people expect from us.”

“We have never said anything against Shiv Sena stalwart Bal Thackeray, even when we contested against the party in 2014, but in the last ten days they have made comments against the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that is disappointing.

“Shiv Sena is not an Opposition party, but an ally of the BJP in the Centre and the state, and such statements from them are not acceptable to us. Even Congress or any Opposition party has not criticised Modi like the Shiv Sena has in the last ten days.”

Devendra Fadnavis, addressing a press conference amid the power tussle with the Shiv Sena, said that Uddhav Thackeray’s statement on the day of the results when he said that ‘all options were available to form the government’, was “shocking”.

“People have voted for the Mahayuti government together, but now allies are looking for their own interests. I want to make one thing clear about their demand for a rotational chief minister, that I have no knowledge of such an understanding or deal between the two parties. If Uddhav Thackeray has spoken to Amit Shah in my absence, then I am not aware of it.

“Whatever the issues were, they should have been resolved by talks, but that has not happened. In the past five years, there has been mutual respect between the allies, but now Uddhav Thackeray has not taken my calls,” Fadnavis said.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, addressing a press conference soon after submitting his resignation from the post to the Maharashtra governor, said that he was grateful to the electorate and his colleagues for the governance made possible in the first term of the government under him.

He lauded the Cabinet, administration, and officials for the work done for the development of the state, including implementing schemes for roads and the Metro project. He also thanked the BJP’s allies, under the umbrella of Mahayuti alliance which includes the Republican Party of India (RPI).

Tanwar said In his resignation letter the Congress was going through “an existential crisis”, “not because of its political opponents but because of serious internal contradictions” inside.

“Hardworking Congressmen who rise from the grassroots and belong to non-political and humble family backgrounds are not valued. Money, demand and pressure tactics seem to work at the end ” he added.

Tanwar said his experience of the past few years had been that “internal democracy is being killed by selfish interests of a few lobbies”.

The former state chief had earlier alleged that the Congress in Haryana had turned into “Hooda Congress” as those who worked against the party’s interests in the last five years have been given prominence over those who slogged to strengthen the opposition party in Haryana.

Infighting in the Haryana Congress had reached the doorstep of interim Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday after Tanwar and his supporters protested outside her 10 Janpath residence, alleging corruption in distribution of tickets for the upcoming assembly polls in Haryana.

Tanwar claimed that party workers are alleging corruption in ticket distribution, but did not spell out any details. He said if need be, he would give adequate proof of the same to Gandhi. “The way ticket distribution has been done is not as per practice and laid rules,” he said, asking the party to spell out the criterion for allocation of tickets.
