										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>NEW DELHI.</strong> NHPC Limited and ONGC Green Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly explore, evaluate, and develop Pumped Hydro Storage Projects and other renewable energy initiatives across India. The agreement was signed by Shri Abhayanand Thakur, Executive Director of Strategic Business Development and Consultancy at NHPC, and Shri Harsh Nupur Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of ONGC Green Limited, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. By combining the complementary strengths of both public sector giants, this strategic partnership aims to significantly enhance India&#8217;s energy storage capacity, facilitate the large-scale integration of renewable energy into the grid, and accelerate the country&#8217;s overall clean energy transition.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SJVN Ltd on Monday said it has received the finance ministry&#8217;s permission to form four joint venture firms for the development of hydro and renewable projects with a total capacity of 8,778 MW in India and Nepal. SJVN will be the leading partner in three joint venture companies, whereas SJVN&#8217;s wholly-owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL) will be the leading partner in the fourth JV, a company statement said.</p>
<p>According to the statement, the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance, Government of India has agreed to the proposal of SJVN and Ministry of Power to form four joint venture (JV) companies for the development of Hydro and Renewable Projects in India and Nepal.</p>
<p>SJVN will form a JV with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd to develop 5,000 MW Renewable Energy Projects.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Mumbai, 27th September 2023</strong> : The MoU was signed by ONGC Executive Director Debdulal Adhikari (left) and CEO (NGEL) Mohit Bhargava in the presence of ONGC Chairman &amp; CEO Arun Kumar Singh and NTPC Limited Chairman and Managing Director &amp; CEO Gurdeep Singh.</p>
<p>The MoU envisages collaboration of the two mega entities in Renewable Power Projects in India and Overseas through offshore wind projects and exploring opportunities in the Storage, E-mobility, Carbon Credits and Green Credits, Nuclear, Green Hydrogen business and its derivatives (Green Ammonia and Green Methanol).</p>
<p>Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) to realize its Renewable energy objectives towards energy transition on 27 September 2023. The MoU will primarily explore the feasibility and setting up of Renewable Energy Projects in various domains.</p>
