Under this project, NTPC will invest 1.48 crore to equip schools with advanced tools such as robotics kits, renewable energy models, and digital learning aids. The initiative is designed to move beyond traditional textbooks by providing students with an interactive environment where they can experiment with electronics and circuits. To ensure the project’s success, the plan includes comprehensive training for teachers and ongoing technical support for the equipment.

The primary goal of these labs is to foster scientific curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills among rural students, preparing them for future careers in technology. The Ri-Bhoi District Administration will oversee the rollout while NTPC conducts regular reviews to maintain quality standards. By bringing modern innovation tools to local communities, the project aims to empower students and bridge the educational gap in the region.

The project will be executed by NTPC’s Bongaigaon unit, located in Kokrajhar district of Assam.
