										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Under the CSR initiative of REC Limited, Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ramen Deka, flagged off six Mobile Medical Units (MMUs), worth Rs.7.21 Crore, at Lok Bhawan, Chhattisgarh, on August 15, 2026.</p>
<p>The flag-off ceremony was held in the presence of Shri Satyaban Sahoo, Chief Project Manager (CPM), Regional Office Raipur, REC Limited, along with officials from REC Limited and the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Chhattisgarh.</p>
<p>Through this CSR initiative, REC Limited aims to bridge healthcare gaps and strengthen last-mile healthcare delivery in underserved areas of Chhattisgarh, bringing essential services closer to communities. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>NEW DELHI.</strong> REC Limited has marked a significant milestone in Bihar’s healthcare landscape with the inauguration of the Sankara Eye Hospital in Saharsa, funded by a ₹11.55 crore CSR grant under the “Bringing Vision to Bihar” initiative. Inaugurated by Union Minister Shri Giriraj Singh and REC Director Shri TSC Bosh, the state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced ophthalmic technology and a rural outreach fleet designed to eliminate preventable blindness. Over the next five years, the hospital aims to provide 1.5 lakh outpatient consultations and 40,000 cataract surgeries, specifically targeting underserved and economically marginalized communities with free and subsidized treatments.</p>
