PFC is a leading financier of Energy Transition in India and these MoU highlight PFC’s commitment to consistently increase its energy transition portfolio and steer Nation’s drive of Energy Transition Goals.

The MoU assume significance in the backdrop of ongoing deliberations on energy transition under India’s G20 presidency.

PFC enjoys the unique advantage of providing funds for longer tenure at competitive rates and taking larger exposures. PFC is looking to fund projects like offshore wind, pumped hydro storage, solar modules and cells, among others in the clean energy space.

The MoU were exchanged in the presence of Smt. Parminder Chopra, Director (Finance) & CMD (Addl. Charge), PFC, Shri Rajiv Ranjan Jha, Director (Projects) and Shri Manoj Sharma, Director (Commercial) at an event held on the side lines of G20 summit in Goa.

HPCL Rajasthan Refinery is setting up a green field refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Barmer , Rajasthan, at a Project Cost of ₹ 72,937 crore.

HRRL executed a loan agreement on 4th July 2023, under a consortium arrangement for ₹ 48,625 crore, wherein the share of PFC Ltd is ₹ 9,187 crore. HRRL is a Joint Venture (JV) company of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) (76%) and the Government of Rajasthan (26%).

The Project includes setting up an energy-efficient and environment-friendly refinery-cum petrochemical complex, setting up a pipeline for transportation of both Rajasthan Crude and imported crude, the pipeline for transportation of water to the refinery site, a captive Power Plant for meeting refinery power and steam requirement, crude and product storage facilities, township and allied facilities and utilities.

The Project will be producing clean fuels such as BS-VI grade Motor Sprit (MS or Petrol) & BS-VI grade High-Speed Diesel (HSD or Diesel) and Petrochemical products such as Polypropylene, Butadiene, LLDPE, HDPE, Benzene and Toluene.

Overall, this financial assistance from PFC will support the development of the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Project, contributing to the nation-building efforts in the Refinery and Petrochemical sector and expanding PFC’s role in the infrastructure segment.

पार्टी से बढे मानने लगे थे खुद को  सचिन की एक बडी गलती ये हो गयी कि वो कांग्रेस से भी बड़ा नेता खुद को मानने लगे थे . वो संगठन महासचिव अविनाश पांडे के खिलाफ शुरु से ही बोलने लगे .यहां तक कि जब चुनाव के बाद सरकार आयी तो सचिन ने पांडे को दरकिनार कर राहुल की दम पर खुद को सीएम समझना शुरु कर दिया . पुराने खिलाडी पांडे ने अशोक गहलोत के साथ मिलकर ऐसा दांव चला कि सचिन को पता नहीं ही चला यहां तक कि राहुल के साथ सचिन के रिशते भी सचिन के बहुत काम नहीं आ सके.

अब क्या होगा सचिन का  सचिन अब राजस्थान कांग्रेस में बागी हो गये हैं. गहलोत धीरे धीरे उनके सारे विधायकों को तोड लेगें और सचिन की तरफ से सावधान रहेंगें .राजस्थानी में कहते है जो एक बार तलवार उठाकर वापस ले ले उससे कोई नहीं डरता सचिन का भी यही होगा . अब विधायक भी उनकी बात पर बगावत नहीं करेगें क्योंकि कोई भी नहीं मानेगा की सचिन वापस नहीं आयेंगे , अब सचिन को फिलहाल कई दिन चुपचाप निकालने होगे और गलत का पश्चाताप ही करना होगा .

The petition, filed by general secretary SC Mishra, refutes the merger and claims the MLAs incur disqualification for voluntarily giving up their membership.

It comes a day after the party’s central leadership had on Sunday caused a new twist in the Rajasthan deadlock and issued a whip to the six MLAs to vote against the Gehlot government in any proceedings of the house, including in case of a no confidence motion.

Gehlot has been struggling to keep his government afloat after a rebellion by Sachin Pilot and MLAs loyal to him, and Mayawati’s new ploy could be just enough to tip the scales against the Congress in the state.

According to sources, Gehlot has been claiming the support of 103 MLAs in the 200-member assembly, but if the six MLAs are forced to vote against him, it could bring his government into a minority.

All the six BSP MLAs had last year merged with the Congress, which could lead to a tangle of technicalities as there are no BSP MLAs in the Rajasthan assembly.

Meanwhile Governor Kalraj Mishra today returned with queries the proposal of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for the assembly session from Friday. This was a revised proposal sent to the Governor but it also did not cut ice with him. The Congress has accused the governor of acting under pressure from the BJP to stall a test of strength in the assembly. The Supreme Court is all set to hear at 11am today a petition filed by Rajasthan Speaker CP Joshi against the rebel MLAs led by now-sacked deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot who engineered a revolt against the Gehlot government. The court on Thursday had refused to restrain the Rajasthan High Court from passing an order on the plea of the rebel MLAs challenging the disqualification notice against them and said it would be subject to the outcome of petition before the apex court.

Observing that the “voice of dissent” in a democracy cannot be shut down, the Supreme Court had refused to accept the plea of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi to either stay the matter pending before the high court or transfer it to the apex court.

Director, NCS informed that given the seismic history of Delhi and its vicinity, the occurrence of minor earthquakes in Delhi-NCR is not unusual. However, there is no proven technology in the world wherein earthquakes are predicted with certainty in terms of its location, time and magnitude.

Following the meeting, the NDMA has requested the States to take the following measures:

i. Ensure compliance of building bye laws to make upcoming constructions earthquake resilient and to avoid addition of vulnerable building stock.

ii. Identify the vulnerable priority structures, especially lifeline buildings, and retrofit them. Private buildings should also be retrofitted to reduce the risk in a phased manner, wherever required.

iii. Conduct regular mock exercises to deal with earthquakes in future and come out with SoPs for immediate response after an earthquake

iv. Undertake the public awareness programmes regarding do’s and don’ts with regard to earthquakes.
The meeting was attended through Voice Conferencing (VC) by NDMA Members, Director General, National Disaster Response Force and senior officers of Government of NCT of Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

So far, India has 14,255 active cases. There are also 77 foreign nationals who are affected by the virus.

There are at least 2,841 patients who have been discharged or cured from the highly contagious disease and one has migrated from the country. According to the Monday morning data from the health ministry, at least 2,546 people have recovered from the infection, showing that the recovery rate has gone up to over 14.75%, an improvement over 14.2% on Sunday. The mortality rate for Covid-19 cases in India is around 3.2%. it added.

During the press briefing on Monday evening, Lav Aggrawal from Health Ministry said that since the lockdown has got implemented, the doubling rate for the virus infection has seen a significant improvement. “The duration of doubling rate for coronavirus which was 3.4 days before lockdown is now 7.5 days,” he said.
Aggrawal also added that the number of districts where no case has been reported in last 14 days has increased to 59.

Dr Raman R Gangakhedkar, ICMR said informed that out of 100 coronavirus patients, 80% are asymptomatic or show mild symptoms.

With more than 4,000 positive cases, Maharashtra remained the worst hit state. The total number of cases in the state surged to 4,203 with 223 deaths. The highest number of cases were reported from Mumbai with more than 2,724 positive Covid-19 patients.

Maharashtra was followed by Delhi, which has crossed 2,000-mark with 2,003 cases and45 deaths, according to the latest data. The other states that crossed the 1,400-mark in the number of coronavirus cases in descending order are Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. Uttar Pradesh became the next state in the country after these to top 1,000 cases.

Apart from Maharashtra and Delhi, the other most-affected states according to the deaths recorded are Gujarat (67), Telangana (21), Madhya Pradesh (74), Punjab (16), Karnataka (16), West Bengal (12), Jammu and Kashmir (5), Uttar Pradesh (17) Kerala (3), Jharkhand (2), Andhra Pradesh (20) Rajasthan (14) Haryana (3), Tamil Nadu (15) and Bihar (2), Meghalaya, Odisha, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and have reported one death each.
