The prestigious Award was given by Shri Anil Razdan , Former Secretary ( Power ) Govt of India on 30th April 2026 in  gracious presence of  Shri Sandeep Gupta , Former  CMD , GAIL,  &  Shri A K Singh , Former CMD, NHPC,   at SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi.

During the same event, Shri Razdan also presented the IPSE Life Time Achievement Award for Excellence  to Shri J.P. Sharma, former Deputy General Manager (Corporate Communications) at NTPC, for his immense lifelong contributions to the field of Corporate Communications.

The IPSE Awards are instituted by PSE Journal in association with the ENERTIA Foundation. The awards aim to recognize excellence within India’s Public Sector Enterprises across core economy sectors and their vital contribution to the Nation’s GDP, covering both Central and State PSEs as well as individual leadership.

A total of 5 prestigious shield and cash awards, along with 14 group awards and 24 individual awards, were presented across diverse domains such as railway infrastructure, metro projects, tunnelling, and strategic assignments. Key functional areas including finance, human resources, ESG, design, investor relations, and business development were also acknowledged, reflecting a comprehensive approach to organisational excellence.

The ceremony underscored RVNL’s culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability, recognising employees who have delivered results in challenging environments. Beyond celebrating achievements, the initiative aimed to motivate the workforce and reinforce the company’s commitment to performance-driven growth, talent development, and its expanding role in nation-building and global infrastructure development.

The Two-day National Meet of the Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS), under the aegis of Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), on the theme ‘HER ERA-NOW & BEYOND’ was inaugurated in Mumbai by Chief Guest Shri Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE & Member, Governing Body, ILO, and Guest of Honour, Smt. Shirin Lokhande, Jt, Labour Commissioner, Govt of Maharashtra in the presence of Smt. Asha Ramamurthy, President, WIPS and other office bearers of WIPS. Bringing together over 600 participants, the meet honored exemplary women performers from various PSEs with Excellence Awards.

The recognition highlights GRSE’s sustained commitment towards promoting and strengthening WIPS initiatives within the organisation. The Company’s management has consistently extended strong support towards programmes that encourage inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment of women employees, exemplifying its continued efforts towards fostering gender equality and an inclusive workplace environment.

Instituted in 1992 by the Central APEX Forum of WIPS, the WIPS Award is presented annually to select Public Sector Undertakings in recognition of their exemplary efforts in advancing the professional growth, development, and empowerment of women in the PSU sector.

This recognition celebrates his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and remarkable contributions in steering GAIL India, the country’s leading Maharatna PSU, towards sustained growth and excellence.
