The Government has approved the appointment of Rajneesh Narain, currently Director (Finance) at Northern Coalfields Limited, as Director (Finance) of IRCTC on immediate absorption basis till June 2030 . Rajneesh Narain will assume charge as Director (Finance) of IRCTC with effect from the date he takes over the position. His tenure will continue until his superannuation on June 30, 2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Anjana Luthra has been appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer with immediate effect. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, she previously served as General Manager (Company Secretariat) and brings over 25 years of extensive experience spanning corporate governance, legal affairs, compliance, finance, and investor relations.

Concurrently, Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie has been named the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from July 1, 2026. Currently serving as the Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts) within the organization, Vallurie is a qualified Cost Accountant with a distinguished career of over 35 years. His three decades of service with Power Grid encompass deep expertise in financial accounting, resource mobilization, ERP implementation, internal audit, and core finance operations.

He has also been associated with the proposed 3 MTPA greenfield expansion project estimated at Rs 28,000 crore.
