]]> The Punjab government has appointed senior IAS officer Ajoy Kumar Sinha as the CMD of Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL) following the retirement of Baldev Singh Sran. Sinha,  will take on this role in addition to his existing responsibilities until a permanent appointment is made.

Sinha is currently serving as the Principal Secretary of Finance and also holds additional charges as Principal Secretary of Power, and Principal Secretary of new & Renewable Energy Sources. Furthermore, he is the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (PSTCL). His extensive experience in the energy and finance sectors is expected to contribute to the efficient management of PSPCL.
