(PSPCL) following the retirement of Baldev Singh Sran. Sinha,  will take on this role in addition to his existing responsibilities until a permanent appointment is made.

Sinha is currently serving as the Principal Secretary of Finance and also holds additional charges as Principal Secretary of Power, and Principal Secretary of new & Renewable Energy Sources. Furthermore, he is the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (PSTCL). His extensive experience in the energy and finance sectors is expected to contribute to the efficient management of PSPCL.
