]]> POWERGRID has signed an MoU with Nepal Electricity Authority in presence of Shri Manohar Lal,  Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India and Shri Dipak Khadka, Minister of Energy, Water Resources & Irrigation, Govt. of Nepal, for incorporation of two joint-venture companies between POWERGRID and NEA in India and Nepal to implement high capacity 400 kV Inaruwa (Nepal)–New Purnea (India) and 400kV Dododhara (Nepal)–Bareilly (India) double-circuit transmission system. Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID and Shri Kamal Acharya, Director, Grid Operation Dept, NEA, signed the MoU in presence of the Ministers.
