										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="gmail-MsoNoSpacing"><strong>Gurugram:</strong> Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2nd November 2025 at more than 300 establishments spread across the country.</p>
<p class="gmail-MsoNoSpacing">The observance commenced with the administration of Integrity Pledge by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Tyagi, CMD to the POWERGRID fraternity at the Corporate Office in Gurugram. Shri G. Ravisankar, Director (Finance), Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Shri Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), Shri Burra Vamsi Ra-ma Mohan, Director (Projects) and Shri Naveen Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer, along with senior officials and employees attended the ceremony.</p>
<p class="gmail-MsoNoSpacing">Aligned with this year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” a Walkathon was organized at the POWERGRID Corporate Office, witnessing enthusiastic participation from employees. The event was followed by a Nukkad Natak (street play), performed both at the Corporate Office and nearby locations, effectively spreading the message of collective responsibility and integrity among employees and the community alike.</p>
<p class="gmail-MsoNoSpacing">POWERGRID is organising a host of activities across all regions and substations throughout the country aimed at reinforcing the values of integrity, transparency, and accountability. The week-long observance also features a range of outreach programmes, including Lok Geet, Cyclothon, Puppet Shows, Gram Sabhas, Slogan writing &amp; Drawing competitions and Debates, underscoring the importance of collective effort in building a corruption-free society.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Estimated cost of the project is around Rs. 366.26 Crore</strong></p>
<p>REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, the Maharatna CPSU under the aegis of Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, handed over a project specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of ISTS Transmission Project under TBCB route viz, Davanagere Power Transmission Limited to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on 24<sup>th</sup> September 2025.</p>
<p>Power Grid Corporation of India Limited emerged as the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of the transmission project on Build, Own, Operate &amp; Transfer (BOOT) basis.</p>
<p>The SPV was handed over by Shri T.S.C. Bosh, CEO, RECPDCL to Arup Kumar Samanta, Senior DGM, Company Secretariat, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited in the presence of Senior Officials of RECPDCL, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited. The implementation period of the project is 24 months.</p>
<p>The scheme covers augmentation of transformation capacity at Davanagere PS by 1&#215;1500 MVA 765/400 kV ICT &amp; 4&#215;500 MVA 400/220 kV ICTs, along with 220 kV line bays. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs. 366.26 Crore.</p>

<p>As per the filing, this is to inform that POWERGRID Raipur Pool Dhamtari Transmission Limited (a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.) secured through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding with a the mandate for implementation of “Transmission System associated with Western Region Expansion Scheme-XXVII (WRES-XXVII)” has been completely commissioned with effect from 26th March, 2025 for which Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) has been received on 16th April, 2025.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has becomes first Power PSU , to take lead  in the launch of a remarkable initiative, the AABHAAR Scheme, to honor its retired employees for their invaluable contributions and steadfast loyalty to the organization. Effective April 1, 2025, this scheme is designed to recognize superannuated employees who have made significant impacts throughout their careers.</p>
<p>Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has launched the AABHAAR Scheme, effective April 1, 2025, to honor retired employees for their contributions and loyalty. The scheme aims to reward superannuated employees upon reaching significant age milestones (65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100 years) through monetary rewards and invitations to annual Raising Day celebrations, where they will receive special mementos. Felicitation on Raising Day: Superannuated employees will be invited to annual celebrations held in their honor, receiving special mementos to commemorate their service. The cash incentive will range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,50,000, depending on the employee&#8217;s age. The maximum incentive amount will be awarded to employees who have reached the age of 100 years. Employees retiring at the age of 60 will receive Rs 25,000. Incentive amounts for other age milestones are as follows: Rs 50,000 for employees aged 70 years, Rs 80,000 for those aged 80 years, Rs 85,000 for those aged 85 years, and Rs 90,000 for employees aged 90 years.</p>
<p>Eligibility includes employees retiring at age 60 or those above age 55 under specific service rules, while those acting against the organization’s interests will be disqualified.</p>
<p>The implementation process involves the submission and verification of a life-certificate, followed by electronic transfer of rewards to eligible employees&#8217; bank accounts. For those aged 75 and above, rewards will be presented at their residence with additional gifts.</p>
<p>Details regarding the scheme will be communicated via the POWER-Setu Portal and email reminders, with the Chairman &amp; Managing Director holding the authority to make adjustments as necessary. The AABHAAR Scheme reflects the organization&#8217;s commitment to valuing the dedicated service of its workforce. Employees can find more information on the POWER-Setu Portal or by contacting the HR department directly.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) handed over 2 No. of project specific SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicle) of ISTS Transmission Projects under TBCB route viz, Bidar Transco Limited and Khavda V-B1B2 Power Transmission Limited to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on 18th February 2025 at Gurugram.</p>
<p>Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) emerged as the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) to develop both the transmission projects on Build, Own, Operate &amp; Transfer</p>
<p>(BOOT) basis, through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator.</p>
<p>The SPVs were handed over by Shri T.S.C. Bosh, CEO, RECPDCL to Shri Pankaj Pandey, Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited in the presence of Senior Officials of RECPDCL, PGCIL and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited. The implementation period for both the projects is 24 months.</p>
<p>The schemes are intended for augmentation of transformation capacity at Bidar Pooling Station in Karnataka State and augmentation of transformation capacity at KPS1 &amp; KPS2.</p>
<p>Substations in Gujarat State for evacuation of Power from RE Power Generators.</p>
