										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Punjab National Bank (PNB), a leading public sector bank, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government to facilitate an investment of Rs 21,000 crore under the state&#8217;s &#8216;Rising Rajasthan&#8217; initiative. The MoU aims to create a dedicated framework for financing eligible projects that align with Rajasthan’s ambitious development goals, thereby driving socio-economic progress across the state. Speaking at the occasion, PNB&#8217;s Managing Director and CEO,  Shri Ashok Chandra, expressed pride in supporting Rajasthan&#8217;s development journey, highlighting the bank&#8217;s extensive branch network, digital capabilities, and diverse product offerings.</p>
<p>Shri  Chandra emphasized that the agreement would accelerate socio-economic growth and further PNB’s national development mission. During his visit to Jaipur, Chandra inspected key branches and ATMs, interacted with customers through the &#8216;Customer Outreach Programme&#8217;, and reaffirmed the bank&#8217;s commitment to digital banking and financial inclusion, emphasizing service excellence for its 18.5 crore customers. <p><strong>New Delhi, 26 September 2023:</strong> In a significant development aimed at bolstering the country&#8217;s economy and infrastructure, Punjab National Bank (PNB), nation&#8217;s leading public sector bank, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with REC Ltd., a Maharatna company under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power and registered with RBI as a non-banking finance company (NBFC), Public Financial Institution (PFI) and Infrastructure Financing Company (IFC).</p>
<p>Through this MoU, PNB and REC Ltd. will work closely to identify and facilitate lending opportunities in sectors of paramount importance. Additionally, this collaboration emphasises both brands&amp;#39; commitment to the country’s economic growth and development.</p>
