In a move to enhance healthcare and emergency transportation facilities, two new Mahindra NEO model Ambulances were inaugurated by Mr. Alok Verma, ED (Mines) with additional charge of ED (Works) and handed over to Dr. Jayant Acharya, CMO In-Charge, (M&HS) on 22nd October, 2024 in a ceremony organized at the FMM (Field Machinery & Maintenance) Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). Present on the occasion were Mr. R.N. Rajendran, CGM (Mechanical), Mr. M.N.V.S. Prabhakar, CGM (Services), Mr. T.P. Sivasankar, CGM, (SMS-II), Mr. Sumit Kumar, CGM, (Blast Furnace), Mr. Abakash Mallick, GM In-Charge, (FM(M) & Transport), and other senior officials of the plant.
