										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>PUKHUWA.</strong> Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), led a high-level Indian delegation to review the progress of SJVN’s 900 MW Arun-3 Hydroelectric Project in Nepal. The strategic cross-border project is being developed by SJVN’s subsidiary, SAPDC. The delegation, including Ambassador Naveen Srivastava, CEA Chairperson Ghanashyam Prasad, and senior Ministry officials, inspected the Underground Power house Site at Pukhuwa and the Dam Site at Phaksinda to assess civil, electro-mechanical, and infrastructure works.</p>
<p>Shri Agarwal appreciated the execution team&#8217;s efforts under challenging Himalayan terrain and emphasized maintaining safety, quality, and environmental sustainability. SAPDC CEO Pankaj Chaudhary briefed the team on construction packages and community initiatives, while SJVN Director (Projects) Rajesh Kumar Chandel urged focus on the targeted commissioning schedule. Once operational, this flagship venture will enhance regional clean energy security and strengthen India–Nepal cooperation.</p>
