India, July 20, 2026: Onsurity today announced the launch of Office Drama, India’s first theatre-led workplace storytelling IP, alongside an investment of over ₹1 crore to build it into a long-term cultural platform around the future of work. Designed as more than a one-day event, the initiative brings together theatre, business and workplace conversations while creating sustained opportunities for independent theatre groups through paid creative collaborations, healthcare benefits and year-round content creation.

The inaugural edition of Office Drama brought together nine original plays inspired by modern workplace experiences before an audience of over 300 founders, HR leaders, CXOs, creators and media in Bengaluru. Judged by acclaimed actors Chandan Roy and Rajeev Mehta, the platform marked the coming together of India’s startup ecosystem and independent theatre community.

Unlike conventional brand-led events, Office Drama has been designed as a year-round creative platform. Each participating theatre group will collaborate with Onsurity over the next nine months to develop original workplace storytelling content across films, short-form videos and digital formats, while also receiving paid creative opportunities, healthcare benefits and long-term partnerships.

Beyond judging the performances, Chandan Roy and Rajeev Mehta conducted mentoring sessions with participating theatre groups, sharing insights on storytelling, performance and creativity, and discussing how these skills can strengthen communication, leadership and workplace culture. With themes ranging from burnout and AI to leadership and workplace relationships, Onsurity plans to take Office Drama to startup hubs across India before expanding into Tier II and Tier III cities.

Chandan Roy, said, “Every workplace has stories that deserve to be told, and theatre has a unique way of making those experiences feel real and relatable. I am excited to be part of an initiative that not only celebrates storytelling but also creates meaningful opportunities for theatre artists.”

Rajeev Mehta, said, “Theatre has always reflected society, and workplaces are one of the biggest parts of our lives today. Office Drama is a refreshing idea that encourages people to look at work through empathy, humour and honest conversations while giving theatre artists a larger platform.”

“Office Drama began with a simple belief that workplaces are made up of stories, not just systems and processes. We wanted to create a platform where those experiences could be interpreted through theatre while creating meaningful opportunities for India’s independent theatre community. Our investment goes beyond an event—we’re building a long-term cultural property that sparks better workplace conversations and supports creators along the way,” said Kulin Shah, Co-Founder & COO, Onsurity.

“Traditional campaigns buy attention, but cultural properties build memory. Office Drama marks our shift from campaign-led marketing to platform-led brand building. Every performance will evolve into digital content over the coming months, making this a year-round storytelling platform rather than a one-time activation,” said Sourav Samadder, Associate Director – Brand & Communications, Onsurity.

Office Drama will be evaluated across brand, community, content and business outcomes, including earned media, audience engagement, creator participation and long-term relationships with founders and business leaders. Through this initiative, Onsurity aims to build one of India’s most distinctive cultural platforms exploring the future of work.

CyberSure provides holistic defence against digital threats

Bengaluru, 4 September 2024: Onsurity has partnered with DBS Bank India to offer CyberSure, a comprehensive cyber protection plan tailored for owners of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across India.

Data from the National Crime Records Bureau[i] revealed that in 2023 alone, Indians suffered losses exceeding ₹7,488 crore due to cyber fraud. SMEs often lack the resources and expertise to implement robust digital protection measures, making them particularly vulnerable to cyber threats. To address this, CyberSure offers a suite of value-added benefits, with a sum insured of INR 10,000 per customer. DBS Bank India will cover the cost of the first month for 10,000 eligible SME owners. After the initial free month, users can continue with the plan through an affordable monthly subscription.

Key features of the plan include:

Comprehensive insurance coverage for digital theft, available through a convenient monthly subscription plan for all users.

24/7 dark web monitoring to safeguard users’ identities by scanning the dark web for signs of their private credentials being exposed in a data breach. If any credentials are found, CyberSure will promptly alert the user and provide clear instructions on how to protect their identity.

Engaging edutainment modules with videos and interactive content in regional languages to enhance cybersecurity awareness. These modules cover topics such as personal information protection, social engineering, phishing, and password safety, making cybersecurity an integral and effortless part of users’ daily lives.

A thorough digital health check that offers users a quick evaluation of their digital well-being and a digital health score.

Speaking about the partnership, Kulin Shah, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Onsurity, said, “SME business owners often juggle multiple responsibilities, but cyber safety demands specialised attention, especially given the sophisticated threats we face today. Our monthly subscription-based model offers SME owners peace of mind, allowing them to focus on growing their business while we handle their cyber protection. With DBS Bank India’s strong presence in the SME sector, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner to bring this essential product to market.”

Sudarshan Chari, Managing Director & Head – SME Banking, DBS Bank India, said, “As cyber threats become more complex, SMEs need robust and accessible protection to secure their operations and data. CyberSure provides an additional layer of security, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on what matters most: growing their businesses. This aligns seamlessly with our brand promise of ‘live more, bank less.’ Onsurity’s expertise in providing tailored tech solutions complements our efforts, further empowering SMEs. We will continue to leverage our strong ecosystem partnerships to deliver solutions that go beyond traditional banking and address the unique challenges faced by SMEs.”

The companies formalised this partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding at the recently concluded Global Fintech Festival, one of the largest fintech conferences in the world organised annually by the Payments Council of India (PCI), the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC).
