Official Language Implementation Committee (OLIC) Meeting of the SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant was held at Manthan Conference Hall  on 10^th June 2025. Mr. Alok Verma, Director In-Charge(RSP) with additional charge of Director In-Charge (ISP & DSP) presided over the meeting. Present on the occasion were Mr. Tarun Misra, ED (HR), Mr. Biswaranjan Palai, ED (Works), Mr. Anil Kumar, ED (MM), Mr. M P Singh, ED (Mines) and Mr. Sudip Pal Chowdhury, ED(Projects). The meeting was attended by many Chief General Managers and Heads of the Department of the Plant.

In his address, Mr. Verma emphasized the importance of implementing the Official Language (Rajbhasha) in daily official functions, documentation, and communication. He urged all departments to adopt bilingual/trilingual communications in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

The session commenced with a welcome address followed by a detail presentation by Ms. Archana Satpathy, GM (PR) & CoC and Member Secretary (OLIC) who elaborated on the various check points pertaining to implementation of Rajbhasha.
