NTPC Ramagundam holds communication workshop on AI technology

PEDDAPALLI. NTPC Ramagundam has organised its first-ever communication workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology at EDC Millennium Hall in Ramagundam of Peddapalli district on Tuesday.

According to a press release, the workshop was conducted under the leadership of NTPC Executive Director (Ramagundam & Telangana) Chandan Kumar Samanta. Noted social media entrepreneur, professor of digital marketing and author Kiruba Shankar was the guest speaker at the session.

He shared deep insights on the transformative impact of AI in professional communication and digital strategies.

In his inaugural address, Mr Samanta urged everyone to continuously update their knowledge and adapt to the evolving digital landscape to remain future-ready.

Participants gained hands-on exposure to innovative tools and AI-based apps that have the potential to revolutionise workplace efficiency and communication.

NTPC Ramagundam shines at PRCI Collateral Awards

NTPC Ramagundam, the organisation was honoured with three distinguished awards at the PRCI (Public Relations Council of India) Collateral Awards 2024. The awards ceremony was held on November 9 at Moti Mahal in Mangalore, Karnataka. The accolades include a Gold Award for Internal Communication Campaign, a Bronze Award in Corporate Communication Excellence, and a Consolation award in the Music Video category.

Kedar Ranjan Pandu, RED (South) & ED (R&T) congratulated the whole team of Ramagundam & Telangana and encouraged them to achieve more heights in future. The awards were presented by Justice P Krishna Bhat, former Justice of the High Court of Karnataka, along with renowned actor, director and producer Ravikiran. Representing NTPC Ramagundam, Rupali Ranjan, Corporate Communication Executive, received the awards on behalf of the organisation.

NTPC Ramagundam bags five national awards

NTPC Ramagundam won five prestigious national Tusker Awards including three golds and two bronze achievements for showcasing its commitment to excellence in various domains.

NTPC received gold medals for its excellence in Rural Sports Promotion, Social Awareness Ad Film and HR – Diversity & Inclusion. The bronze medals were for its people-oriented practices and HR and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)–Innovation activities.

Senior Assistant Officer (HR), Pragyan Priyadarshini and Corporate Communication Executive Rupali Ranjan received awards on behalf of NTPC Ramagundam in a ceremony held at Taj Gateway, Kozhikode in Kerala on Saturday.
