Another Big Ticket Investment Powers into Andhra Pradesh.

NTPC Green Energy Limited has signed a mega deal with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to set up renewable energy projects close to a staggering amount of Rs 2 lakh crores!

NTPC green energy limited inked a joint venture with NREDCAP i.e. the New and Renewable energy development corporation of AndhraPradesh limited to set up RE projects across the state.

As per the government the focus will be on generating 25 GW hashtag#solar/Wind 10 GW pumped storage and 0.5 MMTPA hashtag#greenhydrogen.

Commenting on the JV Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu chief minister of hashtag#Andhra Pradesh said ‘This historic project will create over 1 lakh hashtag#jobs and position our state as a renewable energy leader at the forefront of hashtag#India’s green energy revolution’.

Shri Sivakumar V Vepakomma joins SECI as Director (Power System)

Shri Sivakumar V Vepakomma joins Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited as Director (Power System) on 30th August 2024. Prior to this, Shri Sivakumar served at NTPC Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd as Chief General Manager responsible for engineering, contracts, commercial, business development and carbon trading functions. He was also the maiden CEO of the JV company of NTPC Green Energy Ltd and IOCL Ltd.

He brings along 34 years of experience in the Power sector in areas like Project Construction, Commissioning, O&M, Commercial and regulatory, Energy and Efficiency Management, developing Solar, Wind, Hybrid and Storage solutions.

ONGC inks MoU with NTPC Green Energy Limited for Development of Renewable Energy Projects

Mumbai, 27th September 2023 : The MoU was signed by ONGC Executive Director Debdulal Adhikari (left) and CEO (NGEL) Mohit Bhargava in the presence of ONGC Chairman & CEO Arun Kumar Singh and NTPC Limited Chairman and Managing Director & CEO Gurdeep Singh.

The MoU envisages collaboration of the two mega entities in Renewable Power Projects in India and Overseas through offshore wind projects and exploring opportunities in the Storage, E-mobility, Carbon Credits and Green Credits, Nuclear, Green Hydrogen business and its derivatives (Green Ammonia and Green Methanol).

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) to realize its Renewable energy objectives towards energy transition on 27 September 2023. The MoU will primarily explore the feasibility and setting up of Renewable Energy Projects in various domains.
