This is the 4^th consecutive year that NTPC has been certified as a Top Employer in India by the Top Employers Institute.

Active in 131 countries/regions, Top Employers Institute is the global authority in HR certification, benchmarking and advisory. The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. This survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, and Wellbeing.

NTPC completed the HR Best Practices Survey, validation and audit process of the Top Employers Institute Certification programme and achieved successful Top Employers status.

Being certified as a Top Employer showcases NTPC’s dedication to a better world of work which is exhibited through its “People before PLF (Plant Load Factor)” approach and progressive HR policies, leadership and people practice which contribute towards the achievement of the organisational goals, creating positive organisational outcomes and enhanced employee engagement.

NTPC currently operates over 87 GW of installed capacity, with 32 GW under construction, and has set an ambitious target to scale up to 149 GW, including 60 GW of renewable energy capacity, by 2032, and further to 244 GW by 2037. The roadmap envisages a capital expenditure of approximately Rs 7 lakh crore, with expansion plans across energy storage systems, pumped storage projects, nuclear power, green hydrogen, and chemicals.

एनटीपीसी ने टॉप एम्प्लॉयर्स इंस्टिट्यूट सर्टिफिकेशन प्रोग्राम के अंतर्गत एचआर बेस्ट प्रैक्टिसेज़ सर्वे, वैलिडेशन और ऑडिट प्रक्रिया को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया और “टॉप एम्प्लॉयर” का दर्जा प्राप्त किया।

“टॉप एम्प्लॉयर” के रूप में प्रमाणित होना एनटीपीसी की बेहतर कार्य-संस्कृति के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है, जो उसके “पीएलएफ (प्लांट लोड फैक्टर) से पहले लोग” के दृष्टिकोण और प्रगतिशील एचआर नीतियों, नेतृत्व और मानव संसाधन प्रथाओं के माध्यम से परिलक्षित होती है। ये प्रयास संगठनात्मक लक्ष्यों की प्राप्ति में योगदान देते हैं, सकारात्मक संगठनात्मक परिणाम सुनिश्चित करते हैं और कर्मचारी सहभागिता को सुदृढ़ बनाते हैं।

वर्तमान में एनटीपीसी 87 गीगावाट से अधिक स्थापित क्षमता का संचालन कर रहा है, जबकि 32 गीगावाट क्षमता निर्माणाधीन है। कंपनी ने 2032 तक 149 गीगावाट क्षमता प्राप्त करने का महत्वाकांक्षी लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया है, जिसमें 60 गीगावाट नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षमता शामिल है, तथा 2037 तक इसे 244 गीगावाट तक बढ़ाने की योजना है। इस रोडमैप के अंतर्गत लगभग 7 लाख करोड़ रुपये के पूंजीगत व्यय की परिकल्पना की गई है, जिसमें ऊर्जा भंडारण प्रणाली, पम्प्ड स्टोरेज परियोजनाएँ, परमाणु ऊर्जा, ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन और रसायन क्षेत्र में विस्तार शामिल है।
