NTPC to Establish National Level Archery Academy in Nava Raipur with ₹68.20 Crore CSR Support

Raipur: Reinforcing its commitment to sports development, NTPC Limited has announced the establishment of a National Level Archery Academy at Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with a financial grant of ₹68.20 crore under its CSR initiative. A tripartite agreement was signed on October 17 at NTPC Naya Raipur by Shri Diwakar Kaushik, RED (WR-II) & CEO (NSPCL).

Shri Chandan Kumar (IAS), CEO, NRANVP, and Smt Tanuja Salam (IAS), Director, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Chhattisgarh, in the presence of senior officials from NTPC and the state government.

Spread over 13.47 acres in Sector-3 near the International Cricket Stadium, the academy will feature outdoor and indoor archery ranges, a high-performance centre, hostel facilities, residences, and modern training infrastructure. Additionally, NTPC will provide ₹20.53 crore to set up a Grassroot Archery Academy at Tehsil Shanna in Jashpur district, further strengthening the archery ecosystem in Chhattisgarh.
