										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>PUDUCHERRY.</strong> The Auroville Foundation has signed an agreement with NLC India Limited to promote sustainable electric mobility inside Auroville.</p>
<p>As part of the agreement, NLCIL will provide financial assistance of ?21.4 lakh to the Foundation for the procurement of four electric vehicles. The vehicles would be procured through the Government e-Market (GeM) Portal within the next 45 days, a release here said.</p>

The agreements, signed in the presence of district officials including Shri Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar, IAS, and Shri D.V.S. Narayana Murthy, mark a significant step towards enhancing public infrastructure and community welfare. NLCIL will contribute Rs.20 crores towards developing essential facilities and skills in sectors such as healthcare, education, drinking water, sanitation, and other community projects, aligning with its CSR objectives and national sustainable development goals.
