NLC India has outlined an investment plan of Rs.1.25 lakh crore by 2030 to expand its capacity across its core businesses.

The company currently has: 8,405 MW of installed power-generation capacity 59.1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of mining capacityThe planned investments are aimed at expanding mining operations, modernising the power-generation portfolio and accelerating the company’s transition towards renewable energy.

The award acknowledges the company’s focus on continuous learning, upskilling, reskilling and leadership development to enhance employee capabilities. The project features a 4×270 MW configuration and will be executed with an equal 50:50 equity participation.
