NAIVELLY. NLC India Limited has announced the regularisation of services of 397 IndcoServe society workers who have been associated with the organisation for several years. Addressing the regularisation ceremony virtually, Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. To enhance the green cover in and around coalfields, PSUs such as Coal India Limited (CIL), NLC India Limited (NLCIL), and Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have implemented innovative techniques alongside traditional methods of plantation.

These include three-tier plantations, seed ball plantations, Miyawaki plantations, High-Tech cultivation, bamboo plantations, and plantations on overburden dumps using drip irrigation, etc.

The pumps, typically used in NLCIL’s lignite mines, are designed for high-efficiency water removal and will be instrumental in draining the severely waterlogged areas across the city.

These high-capacity pumps will be deployed in the most affected areas to expedite the drainage of stagnant water and help restore normalcy. NLCIL remains fully committed to collaborating with Government authorities, ensuring a rapid and effective response to this ongoing crisis.

This initiative follows NLCIL’s similar support last year, when it provided vital resources during the aftermath of Cyclone Michaung.
